They arrived safety back at the studio by nine p.m. A four and a half hour drive was not something Yoongi could say he enjoyed, but perhaps the sleeping angel on his shoulder made things a bit more bearable. He could never fall asleep in cars but this time he managed to.

"It was a pleasure to have this opportunity again," Yoongi said to the staff once everyone had gotten out of the vehicles. He shook their hands, including Jimin's, but Jimin was never satisfied with his friend's professionalism and drew him in for a hug.

"I had fun today, Yoongi." He squeezed him tighter. "Thank you for doing this. I'm so glad we figured something out, I really didn't want us to have to find another photographer. It's just not the same." He pulled back, smiling brightly. "Some day we'll just have to hire you into the company as our official, full-time photographer."

"I'm haven't graduated college yet, slow down," Yoongi chuckled.

Jimin faced Jungkook abruptly. Without saying a word, he held out his arms, and the younger walked into them happily.

"I'm glad you could come along, Jungkookie." Humming, Jimin rocked back and forth a bit before finally letting go of the boy. "I hope you had a good birthday."

"I did," he assured him. "I really did. I'm...really glad I got to meet you."

"So am I! But I gotta leave now, my manager wanted to talk to me before I head home."

"Right, o-of course."

"Talk to you later! Bye guys!!"

"See ya, hyung!"

Yoongi and Jungkook both waved goodbye to the blonde bundle of joy until he disappeared into the studio. This was their cue to make their way back over to Yoongi's car, which was still parked in the lot.

So they did, silently, both climbing into their sides of the car, Yoongi taking a deep breath before setting his course for Jungkook's house.

A quiet, thirty-five minute drive. Jungkook almost fell asleep again but jolted the moment he realized Yoongi was pulling up right next to his house. The boy turned to him, about to speak. He expected this to be where he and Yoongi parted, so he wanted to make sure he expressed his utmost appreciation before his friend had to go.

But Yoongi was getting out of the car.

"Hyung?"

"I'll walk you to the door, I wanted to give you your present, too."

He shut his car door. Jungkook hopped out curiously and shut his door, peering behind the car at Yoongi who appeared to be retrieving something from the trunk. Soon, he pulled out a somewhat large gift bag and closed the trunk again.

"Go on," Yoongi gestured at the door to Jungkook's house. "Before I leave I gotta be responsible and make sure it's unlocked and you can get inside safely."

"Hyung, it's fine," the younger said with a sigh. "I told my mom to leave the door unlocked for me. She knows I'd be out late."

Yoongi pursed his lips, nodding in understanding. "I see how it is," he said and forced a nearly inaudible laugh. "You're an adult now, you don't need me to look after you."

"Hyung, that's not-"

"I know, Jungkook, I'm just kidding." Lifting his his eyes, he smiled reassuringly at the boy, then drew in a small breath as he extended the arm which held the gift bag. "Here. Last minute gift."

Speechless for all but a moment, Jungkook accepted the bag, uttering in a somewhat emotional tone, "You really didn't have to get me anything. Today was my gift."
