Present-day:

"I'll have the regular" I see the same cheeky guy who loves my coffee. I know he's flirting with me because he orders the same nasty coffee.

I give him a small smile rubbing against my bruised arm covered by my long sleeve.

"That will be $3.50 please," I say as professionally as possible.

I yell the order to Sara who gives me a dumb look at me then the guy. I end up rolling my eyes because I know what she is trying to do.

"It will be ready in a few minutes, sir" I give a small smile but not showing much effort to it. He continues on his big grin. I could tell he was a student of some sort, probably from the college nearby, based on his notable white and red keychain that read a university.

I make my way towards Sara who is making the drink using the machine at this cafe.

"I'm married Sara" whispering to her and looking down at my wedding ring once more at the poor guy who kept insisting on coming to this coffee shop.

"I know but how do you do it Alexa" she makes duck lips staring at the guy who tries his hardest not to look in our general direction.

"Do what?" confused on what she was talking about.

"Guys would just drop dead for you" she jokes and I push her playfully.

Sara finally got the hint that I'm not looking for anyone after telling her a second time. If  Jordan found out I think he would actually never forgive me.  Maybe my punishment would be worse this time.

The day goes by faster than expected and Sara left me alone so I can close up the coffee shop today. I'm so tired why does Enrique think I want to close up shop. He probably went out with that customer form a few days ago who kept asking to see him.

The clock was clocking close to 10 pm already. I texted Jordan that I would be a little late today because I'm closing up the cafe.

Jordan 💕:
Why are you closing up shop?

Who's is with you?

I'm coming to pick you up now.

He can be difficult to say no to sometimes. I don't even try as much as I use to knowing what he would do. I hated being this way but this is the only way to keep her safe.

Looking around the dark cafe, I close the door and proceed to lock it. Thank god Enrique gave me his spare keys so I don't need to take them to his house.

I look at the time and it's already 10:30.

Jesus where is he at?

I knew it was only a 10-minute drive. I asked Sara for a ride once and surprised how fast it was. I could just walk and save him a trip.

Waiting another 10 minutes he doesn't show up so I decided to walk.

I put on my hoodie and start walking back home. It felt already creepy staring at every corner where the alleys became darker.

This already feels bad.

My footsteps echo throughout the street as I began to imagine the worse things that could happen.

I stop momentarily thinking if I heard someone behind me. Looking behind me I saw no one of course.

Great now I'm hearing things.

I keep walking because I knew I'd I turn back a second time it would a bad idea. Now I feel like one of those girls in the movies where your like why is she walking home.

Blah blah, look at that dumb girl blah blah.

I got lost in my train of thought when my head felt heavy and my body hit something hard.  Opening my eyes didn't help much either because everything became blurry.

I felt someone pulling the bottom of my shoes down and my vision got darker.

"Dumb ass bitch" I hear a guy say.

"What is going on?" I start realizing the situation with my vision getting better.

"All I wanted was your attention, I guess your little husband is going to have to wait," he smirks making his hands go towards my jeans. I open my eyes clearer now and see it's the same guy from the coffee shop.

Oh hell no.

"HEL-" I start screaming but he puts his hand over my mouth. I start panicking knowing that I'm about to get raped in a fucken alley.

"Shut up!" he yells grabbing my hair and banged my head against the concrete.

My head felt even worse.

My jeans were being tugged and pulled down.

"Now your all mine" he whispers into my ear making me gasp.

I heard the sounds of his belt being unbuckled.

"Please" I begged.

Then I felt nothing.

I heard something really heavy hit the ground that I could feel the vibration from where I was laying.

I can't even open my eyes but I felt strong arms carrying me. He didn't smell like cigarettes or nasty alcohol.  It was a fresh fragrance like I was walking through a forest.

I start freaking out wondering if this coffee guy was taking me somewhere else. I start to wiggle my body seeing if I could get out of his grasp.

"Calm down" I hear his voice.

He wasn't the coffee guy.

Or Jordan.

"It is ok, I'm going to take you someone safe" I hear him say quietly.

I tried to open my eyes but it hurt so much.

I finally gave up when I felt the comfort of the seat and let god handle things from here.
