Feel The Love

*Spike's P.O.V.*

I rushed home wondering about Sam, running down roads, almost getting hit by cars and the amount of trees that hit me... I finally seen the house in sight. The lights were on and I finally got to the door, I opened it quickly to see my beautiful girlfriend on the ground curled up in a ball. I ran over to her with worry, she was not awake. I growled and picked her up bridal style and rushed to Giles's house, I tried to knock on the door. Instead I yelled for him, after a minute of screaming Buffy opened the door "Ugh its Spike and- Sam?! Is she alright?" "I have no idea" I told them and rushed passed with my beloved girlfriend in my arms worrying so much for her "What happened?" I didn't want to give the details that I killed a human. It had to be done, in order to protect Sam. 

I set Sam down on the couch "We have to call all the Scoobies to figure out what happened..." Giles told Buffy. I sighed and gazed at her, if anything would happen to her... Josh or whatever is name is would be more than dead. I frowned and grabbed her hand "Spike..." I heard behind me "Yeah?" "What happened before you found her like this?" Giles asked "I was beating up the person who did this..." I said trying to sound convincing. Giles sighed "What is their name?" "They told us his name is Josh... but once I uh... beat him he said it wasn't that" Giles went over to his books "I-I think I read about this before,  when we were researching about Glory" "Ok and...?" Giles pulled out a book and his fingers went across the pages in a quick rate "This Josh person is also a god..." "He seemed like a normal abusive guy" I said folding my arms "Abusive?" Giles said looking at me in shock "He was always trying to steal her from me, no matter she told him no... he even was stalking her" Giles shook his head.

Minutes passed and both Willow and Xander rushed in along with Buffy "What happened? Buffy only told us a little bit..." Willow said kneeling next to Sam. I explained everything, Josh abusing Sam, and how he was verbal with her. Xander's face suddenly dropped once I said Josh's name, rambling about I realized I had my fists balled up. I sighed and stopped "Xander I think you know this guy..." "W-What?" he asked in denial "Don't lie to me, Sam and I saw you walk in and out of this dudes house!" "Oh um... That probably wasn't me-" "Before you lie to us all, who else would Sam and I see? We barely go outside since I just got my ring!" I said scoffing. Xander sighed "Fine you got me! Yes I know Josh, he was one of my best friends!" "Tell us more" "I never knew he was into magic... I just knew that he was bi and was always trying to ask me out even though I'm with Anya who is not feeling well..." Xander said in defense.

I looked at Sam, Willow's fingers went through her hair. I decided to not say anything, but remembering why Sam was knocked out at the moment made me gasp. Everyone looked at me "Sam is like this because the house was extremely hot!" "I thought you vampires didn't feel temperature..." Buffy said rolling her eyes. I frowned "We can, usually it doesn't phase us tho..." "Maybe more than the heat is what caused her to faint?" "Blood...?" "That's a possibility, she hasn't been drinking it much" "I can go to the butcher to get pigs blood if that sounds good" Giles nodded "Perfect idea, here" Giles gave her money "No I got it" she told him and Giles shrugged. The door shut leaving a cool breeze through out the house. 

Buffy went to Giles's bathroom to get a cold cloth to put on Sam's damp forehead, I sat above Sam on the couch's arm rest. Placing the cloth I noticed her nose was bleeding "Oh no..." I whispered "What?" Buffy asked walking over "Her nose is bleeding..." "I'll get a tissue..." she said. Once Buffy gave me the tissue I helped Sam's nose and rested her head on my leg, I sighed "She's gonna be alright" Buffy comforted me. I sighed "How can we be sure?" "She's not turned to dust is she...?" Buffy said raising her eyebrows at me leaning on the back of the couch "True, but I don't ever wanna think about that" "Your lucky she loves you so much" "Why's that?" "You'd be the pile of dust" Buffy said laughing. I scoffed  "Buffy!" I looked up to see Giles glaring at her "Sorry Giles" rolling her eyes Buffy looked at me "You both love each other don't you?" "Very much so" "Wish I could find love like that" I licked my lips and didn't know how to answer that. Willow burst through the door holding a bag, in relief I rose. Not to my feet of course, just to acknowledge Willow's presence that saved me from Buffy's awkwardness.
