Mercury: I'll do it.
Goodwitch: Mercury, is it? Very well, let's find you an opponent.
Y/N: Yo.
Goodwitch: Ah Y/N finally volunteering.
Y/N: Oi Mercury, wanna do a tag-team battle? Pyrrha and I vs You and Emerald?
Mercury: Fine by me.
Pyrrha: I'm ok with that.
Emerald: Sure.
Goodwitch: W-well then. Take your places.
I stepped up to the arena, putting on my gloves, and looked at Pyrrha.
Y/N: *I wanna see something. Only use your semblance if you've touched the thing first.*
Pyrrha: *Alright.*
Goodwitch: Fighters ready...? Go!
Mercury rushes forward and Pyrrha knocks him down. I teleport behind Emerald and punch at her, I suddenly feel something trying to enter my mind and let it in seeing several Emeralds all pointing their guns at me. Deciding I'd had enough I attacked Emerald mentally and the illusions stopped.
Y/N: I wouldn't recommend going in there it isn't the cleanest.
Emerald looked visibly shocked and began firing at me. I moved and got behind her knocking her down in one punch.
Mercury/Emerald: We forfeit.
Y/N: Called it.
Pyrrha: You don't even want to try?
Y/N: Well looks like we won Spartan nice one.
Goodwitch: *to Mercury* Maybe next time you'll think twice before taking an unfair battle.
Mercury: Sure.
The class ended and they walked off.
Y/N: *to Pyrrha* Thanks for that Spartan. Should get them scared.
Pyrrha: Why did you...
Y/N: I have some suspicions about them and I just confirmed them.
Pyrrha: Oh, then I'm glad I could be of help!
Y/N: You should go to your boyfriend make sure he's ok you did that fight with me.
I winked and walked off.
Mercury's POV
Mercury: What was that Emerald I thought you were gonna kick him down a peg!
Emerald: I couldn't my semblance didn't work at first and then when it did he spoke in my mind.
Mercury: What! But he was supposed to have a teleportation semblance.
Emerald: When I was able to mess with his mind it was like he let me and I felt an unimaginable power pressing on me.
Mercury: Who the hell is that guy! Even Cinder told us not to screw with him!
Emerald bit her lip.
Emerald: I don't know but whoever he is, he's stronger than Cinder and maybe even Her.
We walked in silence for the rest of the trip to our dorm but two questions circulated in my head... How did he know who we were? And why was he so familiar?
Y/N's POV
I walked over to my dorm just remembering the fight and what Emerald's power felt like.
Y/N: Shinketsu can you makes sure to alert me if you sense this power.
Shinketsu: Sure.
I saw JNPR's dorm room door open and when I looked inside Jaune and Ren were in suits.
Jaune: Hey, Y/N! Come on in!
Y/N: You guys look nice.
Ren: Thank you.
Jaune: We got one for you too! I thought it would be cool if we all matched!
Y/N: Thanks, but I'll only wear the pants and the undershirt, not the Jacket.
Jaune looked slightly disheartened by this.
Jaune: Why not...
Y/N: *sighs* You know how I wear this all the time? *gestures to the infinity armoursuits*
Jaune: Yeah?
Y/N: It's armour, not your normal metal armour, but, armour none the less.
Jaune: So your just gonna wear that jacket?
Y/N: Yeah.
Jaune: Oh, ok.
Jaune's ears lowered and he seemed to lose some of his spark.
Y/N: *Sighs* I guess I can change the jacket into a scarf and achieve the same effect.
Jaune's ears shot up and his mood instantly was back to how it was before.
Jaune: Really! You'll wear it!
Y/N: Yes, I'll wear it.
With that, I took the outfit and waved them goodbye.
