Cant believe this is happening. Only two days until-
"Babygirl, c'mere". The sound of Lara's voice interrupted my thoughts. I quirked a small smile at my previous thought and jumped out of bed to jog downstairs. "Yeah baby?". Walking into to the kitchen to discover Lara holding what looks to be the last invitation to the guests. "All done and dusted?". She grins nodding. "Yeah, still lots to do though before Friday, best day of the week huh?". "Gonna be the best day of my life".
Lara's grin widens and she pulls me into her, my arms wrapping around her neck as she does so. "Guess we'll have to wait and see afterwards huh?". She says accompanying the wiggle of the eyebrows. I shake my head laughing putting my hand on her face pushing her back lightly. "You're gross". She once again pulls me into her and places a light kiss to my lips. I pull her back again to ensure she doesn't get away so easily. I pull back and out of her arms. "Alright then you go post that and I'll go back to finishing off the design plan for the tables and seating". Lara nods as I walk back out of the kitchen and upstairs.
My fingers move along the smooth surface of the tablet letting the designs fall into place. The white and gold scheme seemed to be the best pick.
About 15 minutes later I feel a body hit the bed and arms curl around my waist. "How is it so far?". I showed her the progress so far.

"Oh wow, that's great, but we need to send it to the planner before we get in trouble for too little time". I hum in agreement and save the design to file before emailing the planner. Lara rests her head on my shoulder curling up behind me.
The silence in the room was unusual for these past weeks because of family and panic. The stress of the next two days will be horrific if anything. Hopefully the spirits let us have a peaceful day. I turn over and curl into Lara letting myself drift off, she hums and the world around me fades to blackness.
*two days later*
My eyes flicker open to the light peeking in through the blinds. I blink the sleep away and sit up to an empty bed, except this wasn't because of the usual tomb raiding a certain someone is committed to, it's because of the one thing that has me both excited and stressed. Today's our wedding. I grin harshly noticing the rose petals and the burning candles releasing the scent of vanilla into the air.
I giggled picking up the rose petals and inhaling the smell deeply. A note sat beside the bed accompanied with some breakfast on a plate. The note read
Good morning beautiful, wish I could be there when you wake up but seeming as bad luck could be struck upon us, tis better I leave you this note and some breakfast, your favourite, sunny side up runny with toast and unsmoked bacon. Lots of love, Lara. I smiled, then began to tuck into my breakfast, around ten minutes later I'm finished and I pull myself out of bed only to be tackled by a certain best friend, Lily. "Wake up sleepyhead, it's your big day!". "Gah! Lily! I'm up!". The blonde sits up and grins wide.
