The doorbell rang a few minutes later, and I walked to get it. I open the door, pulling out my wallet. "How much do I owe you?"

"Sierra Daniels."

I froze and looked up.

A smile broke out and I squealed.

"Jason!"

He laughed and wrapped me in a hug as I jumped out at him. He placed the pizza on the nearby table and hugged me tightly.

"How are you?" He asked kindly.

"I'm spectacular."

"Gideon?" I turned to see Doctor Reid behind me. I smiled and released Jason so he could hug Spencer.

"How are you, Spencer?" Reid grinned and hugged Jason. "I'm...great, actually."

"Come on, I'll make some drink and grab plates. You guys go sit in the living room." They both walked towards the living room, where Spencer and I just kissed each other.

I felt my face flush as I reached for the cups in the cabinet. Luckily the door hid my face so Jason couldn't see or ask about it.

Damn profilers.

I reached up to my lips and touched, thinking about the pressure Reid's lips were against them, how soft they were, and how they felt soft against my own. The whelming desire to have them there again was clouding my thoughts as I pulled out the cups slowly. I didn't realize how much the effects of that kiss would be when we did.

I sighed blissfully and ran a hand through my hair. I began to walk into the room to ask what they wanted to drink, but over-heard them talking.

"How much of her past has she told you, Spencer?" Jason asked quietly.

"She's told me that she was one of your cases and you found her almost in Colorado before you found her. Sierra and I were just talking about her mom's arthritis and Alzheimer's that has recently begun. Other than that, nothing too much." Spencer replied solemnly.

"Did she tell you what happened when she was kidnapped?" Jason questioned.

I felt tears prick my eyes and I gulped. I leaned against the wall, listening to ever word.

'Oh God, Spencer is about to find out. Oh no, no please no! What will he think of me? Will he-'

"No, she hasn't. Did something happen?" Reid asked quickly, worry evident in his voice.

I heard Jason heave a sigh. "As much as I want to tell you, it's not my place. What I will tell you is to handle her carefully."

Tears rolled down my cheeks and I smiled.

I kind of wanted Jason to tell Reid, just so I didn't have to, but...it's better he heard it from the source.

"You have most likely earned her trust already, but if she tells you, WHEN she tells you, have open arms, and know that she has basically opened up to you fully, and she trusts you with her life. It took her weeks before she trusted me enough to tell me what happened, but she and I began to have this connection as a father should have with a daughter. That's when I agreed to take care of her." I smiled as Jason poured himself out to Reid.

Reid nodded and said, "So, your essentially her father, correct?" I could practically see Jason nod in the silence.

"I want to make her my girlfriend."

I sucked in a breath.

WHAT?!

"I know you, and I know her." Jason began. "I know what you both are capable of. I know what your not capable of. I can tell you've taken a liking to her."

Silence.

"No, you cannot."

I let out my breath in shock. I dropped my hand from my mouth to my side.

He said no? How could he say no? Why would he disagree? What's making him think this way.

I can only imagine what Reid's face looked as of this moment.

I felt my heart shatter. I liked Spencer. I really care about him.

"She calls you by your last name, right?" Jason asked. Reid answered, "Doctor Reid, yes." Jason replied, "When she calls you by your first name voluntarily, you may be together." At this point, I peeked around the corner to see Reid with one eye raised.

"How come until then?" He asked. Jason folded his hands and said, "Sierra is a girl of respect. She feels that she needs to fully know someone before she calls them by their first name. Her being romantically interested in you may either hurry her along and be on first-name basis with you; or, it can have the total opposite effect and make her more nervous, causing it to take a while longer."

"I understand. Then, may I take her on dates?" Jason smiled. "I can agree with that." I smiled and quickly grabbed the plates, pizza, and walked into the room. "Here's the food, what do you all want to drink?" Jason smiled and said, "Water." Reid nodded and I couldn't help but feel nervous looking at him.

Had Jason really profiled me all this time?

Spencer smiled and said, "Coffee, please?" I nodded, adding a smile and sauntered off to the kitchen and brought back the drinks. I grabbed a slice of pizza and asked, "What brought you back here, Jason?" He smiled and said, "I can't stay away from my daughter that long, now can I?"

I smiled and ate my pizza.

"I see you two are getting along." Reid nodded and said, "Yes, I'm enjoying having something different going on in my life." He looked at me and gazed. I smiled and nodded in agreement. "I am too."

"Well, how about a game of chess?" Jason said.

And with that, brought smiles to all of our faces.

They sat in the house for hours, moving pawns and checking mate. They were all so engrossed into their games that they were completely oblivious to the black van that sat outside the house with a man inside, holding binoculars, and strategically planning his next attack on his daughter:

Sierra Daniels.
