Chapter One

Willow ran downstairs in her new uniform ready to go to SkyLand Academy. Willow ran into the kitchen, her mom setting plates of food down on the table. "Morning Mom!" Willow said excited. "Hi Willow" Willow's mom said. Willow sat down at the table and started eating her food very fast. "Slow down Willow. I know you're excited but I don't want you to choke." Willow's mom said. Willow smiled and drank some of her orange juice. Willow looked at the time and quickly stood up. "Okay mom it's time for me to go! Bye love you!" Willow said excited again and running towards the door. "Love you too Willow. Be safe" Willow's mom said. Willow ran outside and started running to the bus stop to her school waiting for the bus to SkyLand Academy to come. Willow sat down on the bench and waited patiently for the bus. Willow grabed a hairtie from her pocket and put her thick brown hair up into a ponytail. Willow heard the sound of the bus driving up to her. Willow stood up quickly and the bus stopped and opened up the door. "Get in" The bus driving said. Willow quickly walked inaide and saw many kids sitting in the bus. Willow took a deep breath and walkes to the back od the bus and sat down. She got many looks on her way to the end of the bus, almost like people were judging her. The bus started moving again and all the kids started talking to each other. Willow stayed quiet in the back. Willow looked out the window and sighed. Willow grabbed her ear buds from hee pocket and put them into her phone and played some music. She shut her eyes and waited until the next stop.

            -Few minutes later-

The bus stopped and a kid got onto the bus. This was the last kid getting onto the bus then it was off to the Academy. "Um, excuse me is this seat taken?" A girl with a high pitched voice asked. Willow stopped her music and looked at the girl. She had orange hair, with big glasses and a blue Bennie on. "No, it isn't you can sit here." Willow said. "Thank you" The Orange haired girl said sitting down. Willow put her phone in her pocket and looked at the Orange haired girl sat next to her. "I'm Willow" Willow said putting out her hand to shake the orange haired girls hand. "I'm Ellie. Its nice to meet you Willow" The Orange haired girl said shaking Willow's hand. Willow smiled and they stopped shaking hands. "So are you excited to go to the Academy?" Willow asked. "I'm super excited. I've been waiting to go here for years. Its kinda been a dream of mine." Ellie said. Willow smiled, she hadn't met many people who were excited about going to the Academy. "I'm excited too. Its been a dream of mine for years as well. I've always wanted to go to SkyLand Academy" Willow said. Ellie smiled. "I guess we both had the same dream. And now after years Its finally coming true" "yeah I guess so" the girls talked the whole way to the Academy. The girls had a lot in common which was surprising especially for Willow. Many people didn't have much in common with Willow she was more like the girl in the background. The bus pulled up to the schools and the girls looked out the window. They were both  stared in awe at the Academy. The big white and red building was on an island. There was a big bridge leading across to the island about a river of water. Big white stairs led to the entrance of the big building. All the kids got off the bus, Willow and Ellie were the last one's off. Everyone walked across the bridge and got brought to the green grass around the big building. A stone path led to the stairs and a few feet away from the steps was a water fountain. A lady with white hair in a blue pantsuit walked up to the the group of kids. "Hello kid's I'm Mrs.Adam's and I'm your Academy owner. I own this academy and I will be the person you go to if you have any questions about the academy or any questions about your power's and other such stuff. Abby will be showing you around the academy, but before that she will pair up the groups of kids who will be sharing a dorm." Mrs.Adam's said. Willow and Ellie looked at each other. "I hope we get a dorm together" Willow whispered to Ellie. "Me too" Ellie whispered back. Mrs.Adam's walked away and a girl with black hair and tanner skin walked up to the group. "I'm Abby I will be showing you around the academy. But first I will be pairing you guys in a group of six. So let me get started." Abby said. Abby paired up a few kids then got to Willow. "Willow you will be paired with Ellie, Sky, Gavin and Logan. Willow you are also the leader of your group. Now all the names called out for this group step forward." Abby said. All of them stepped forward. Willow looked at her group. The one girl had blonde hair and a Jean jacket on. The other girl looked Asian she had black hair, one boy had brown hair and a gray beenie on and last a boy with light blond hair and a white shirt on. Willow was happy with her group. They all walked over to the fountain and waited for the rest of the groups to be made. "Um, hi I'm Willow." Willow said to all of them. "I'm Sky" The blonde girl said. "I'm Gavin" the brown haired boy with the beenie on said. "I'm Logan" The blond boy said. "I'm Ally" the Asian girl said. "I'm Ellie" Ellie said. Lots of names to take in but now Willow knew who was who. "Its nice to meet you all. I guess I'm the leader of our group so I lead us through everything. Well I hope we will make it through any hard time" Willow said. Willow didn't really know what to say besides that. Abby called all the teams over to her to start the Academy tour. Abby walked up the stairs with the teams and walked inside. All the kids were surprised at how amazing the place looked. "So this is the main hall with all the lockers. The main desk is up this way behind the water fountain. The stairs lead up to the class rooms and the last pair of stairs leads up to the dorms. Their is an elevator that takes you to the roof of the Academy. And there is a door before the door to the roof that leads to Mrs.Adam's main room. So if you have any questions you can ask her. Its as simple as that you will find your way around in no time." All the kids wondered off once Abby stopped talking. Willow and her group waljed up to the main desk to get their dorm key. "Hi I'm Willow. Me and my friends would like the key to our dorm." Willow said to the girl at the desk. The girl grabbed out a key and gave it to Willow. "You have room A5 it's on the second floor" the girl said. Willow nodded and her and her group walked up the stairs. The group got to their dorm, but there was something weird about the dorm next to them. The name number A6 was falling off the door and the door seemed like it was breaking. Willow touched the door. She put her hand onto the doorknob and went to open it. Gavin opened their dorm room door and walked inside with everyone. Willow was still stood there at the other dorm door. She moved her hand away from the doorknob and walked into her dorm. Gavin climbed up to the top bunk and Logan sat down on the bottom bunk. Sky and Ellie were sitting on their bunks too. Willow had a bunk against the wall in the middle of the room. Ally was on the bottom bunk. Willow sat down on the top bunk and looked at everyone. "So, we should all get to know each other. I guess we can start of with which powers do we have. Um, who wants to go first?" Willow said. "I'll go first" Ellie said. Willow nodded. "I have the healing ability. I haven't really used it much and i don't know much about it but I'm hoping to learn." Ellie said. "That will be very helpful Ellie. You need to learn how to use it we will need that." Willow said. "Can I go next?" Gavin asked. "Sure" "okay, well I have force field generation. I can create a force field to protect me and anyone close enough to me from anything bad. If someonw were to throw a knife at me I would just make a force field and block it." Gavin said. "That is very useful too. So far so good with the powers. Sky you go next" Willow said. "Okay. Mines kinda stupid but I have the ability to become any animal." Sky said looking away from everyone. "That's super useful as well! You can just become a tiger and kill someone. Its not weird it's perfect" Willow said trying to cheer up Sky some. "I'll go next. I have telekinesis" Logan said with a proud charming smile. "Useful too!" Willow said. "I guess I'm last. My power is teleportation." Ally said. "Heck yeah! All of you have amazing powers! We will do great as a team. We just need to learn how to control our powers and how to use them correctly. Oh um, I guess I'm supost to go next. My power is actually kinda big, my family said that it's very important. I can make Electricity with my hands and with a power I have when I get angry I can expand the size of the electricity with my eye's and make a giant explosion of electricity and kill the people I want to kill with my mind." Willow said. Everyone looked at her with wide eye's. "I can also take one of you and combined our powers together and make one big power for a few minutes." Willow said with a big smile on her face. "You act like that is completely normal! Thats the biggest power ever and you act like it's nothing!" Ellie said. "Oh no i don't act normal about this I know Its a really big deal but I try to keep my cool about it" everyone shook their heads. Willow laughed and jumped off her bed. "So what kind of weapons do you guys have?" Willow asked grabbing her bag and pulling out her weapon. Before she could pull her weapon fully out of her bag someone knocked on the door. Willow set down her bag and walked over to the door and opened it. "Hi Willow. Its time for your first team exercise. Follow me to the backyard of the school." Abby said. Everyone got off their beds and walked over to Willow. Willow and her team followed Abby to the backyard of the school. Mrs.Adam's and a few other people were standing across a bridge on a island with trees and big stones around. All of them walked across the bridge and stood in front of Mrs.Adam's and the other teachers. They waited a few minutes for the other groups to come. Soon everyone was at the other island. "Hello kid's, today we are going to be working on a team exercise. You will all be fighting some robots that will try to attack you. Your goal is to work as a team and use your powers together to defeat all the robots. There is Six levels each level gets harder and harder. You will have thirty seconds before your battle starts to come up with a plan together. This should be one of the easiest exercises you have to do but your exercises will get harder as time goes on. Does Everyone understand?" Everyone nodded their heads yes. "Then let's begin this. Please stand on your group circle together and you will get sent to your battle area. Your group circle will have your leaders name on it." Mrs.Adam's walked up some stairs to a small platform with the other teachers. Willow walked over to the circle with her team and stood inside of it. The circle lifted up and flew around the place to get to their battle area. "Wow! This place is so amazing!" Ellie said in excitement. "Yeah, it's beautiful" Ally said placing her hand onto the glass around their circle. Gavin stood next to Ally and looked around. The circle landed and the glass barrier went down. Everyone walked off it and looked around the place. A voice came from behind them. The circle had a small screen sitting on a tall table. Mrs.Adam's was on the screen. "Your thirty seconds will starts in just a few seconds. When you hear a big loud beep that means the time has started. Now there is a Barrie around Your area so you can't leave the area. Thats all now see you kids soon." Mrs.Adam's said then disappeared off the screen. "Okay team let's start the first round with no plan. We need to figure out how the robots fight." Willow said. Everyone nodded. Their weapons appeared floating in front of them. "Wowwww coolll their floating" Ellie said. Willow laughed a little and grabbed her weapon. Everyone grabbed their weapons too then the big loud beep went off. They all stood next to each other and watched as robots appeared around them. Willow activated her weapon. Her weapon is a sword that expands sizes. It has a very sharp point and it shined in the Sun light. Ellie has a bow, if you twisted the string with an arrow in it it would go faster and farther. Sky has a gun that expands as well as Willow's weapon. It shoots three bolts at a time when its expanded. Gavin has a sword as well. His sword doesn't expand but it has two extra blades coming out of the sides. Logan has an axe. It expands too, it starts off as a small axe and expands into a big axe with four blades on it. And last Ally has a stick that changes into whatever weapons she wants. By throwing it into the air and saying the weapon name It will transform into that weapon. Her weapon is most useful. The robots started running towards the group. Willow started fighting a robot with a sword. Willow blocked most of the hits but got hit by another robot shooting arrows. She fell down on the ground and blocked the robot above her with her sword. Logan kicked the robot he was fighting and ran over to Willow. He held his weapon up high then slammed it down into the robot cutting it in half. "Thanks Logan" Willow said standing up. "Yeah. Look out!" Willow quickly ducked down and the robot behind her mist its hit. Logan used his axe and cut the robots head off. Willow stood up straight and looked behind her. "That was a close one" "yeah it was" Logan turned around and looked at his other teammates. "Come on let's go help" Logan said running towards them. Willow followed. Mrs.Adam's and the other teachers were watching from the cameras placed around the area. "They are a good team. But it seems like Ally isn't as good as the rest. She seems to not know what weapons to get and ends up getting hit to the ground by a robot for taking too long. She'll need some practice, we need her in the weapons class for sure" Mrs.Adam's said to the other teachers. Mr.Smith one of the teachers started writing things down on a clipboard. All the kids needes to go to different classes for different reasons. Mrs.Adam's realized that the kids were a good team But it was hard for some of them to work together. "Gavin you should have blocked the hit for me!" Sky yelled. "I'm sorry I couldn't activate my force filed that fast!" Gavin yelled back. "Well you should work on that!" -guy's stop we need to focus. Don't get mad over a small mistake." Willow said. Gavin walked away. Sky crossed her arms and looked at Willow. "We're a team not enemies" Willow said. The big loud beep went off again it was time for level two. "Oh no guys we didn't come up with a plan!" Willow shouted. The robots appeared around all of them. Willow ran off with the rest of her team to find somewhere safe to hide to come up with a plan. They all hid behind a big rock. "Okay so we need to come up with a plan fast. I think that Gavin should mainly be in front of all of us because he has his force field. If we get enough power in him it will make a big enough force field to keep us all safe. Me and Ellie will be on the sides of Gavin. I have a big sword and with Ellie's bow she can shoot anything that gets too close. Logan and Sky you guys will be in the back. If something gets really bad and the force field doesn't work our best bet will be Sky turning into a animal. Best animal you can change into will do I've read about all powers and I know the animal one you have to be really good at the power to get bigger animals. So you need to try and turn into something really big and bad to kill the robots. Is this a good plan?" Willow said. "Sounds good to us. Lets do this" Gavin said. They all stood up and ran back into battle.

                   -Time Skip-

The team exercise ended and all the teams were exhausted. Willow and her team walked into the circle Gavin laid down on the ground of the circle. Ally leaned against the wall and so did Sky. The circle lifted up and flew back to the main area. Some teams were already back for awhile watching the other teams fight. The circle landed and the team got out of it once the barrier went down. Mrs.Adam's came down the stairs and walked up to all the teams. "Kid's you all did great. But I did see some flaws with your fighting and your teamwork. I would like to talk to Willow's team first." Mrs.Adam's said. Willow and her team walked up to Mrs.Adam's. "Willow you're leadership is great. You are doing a great job at being a leader. Sky Gavin you guys need to learn how to get along. I saw you two fighting you need to work together. Ally you need to work on your weapons work. And Logan nothing seemed to be wrong with your fighting or anything. Ellie you did fine as well. Now you guys need to go to some classes, Ally you need to go to the weapons class you need some help with that. Gavin you need to go to power class to learn more about your force field and teamwork class. and Ellie you need to go to power class too. Willow you don't need any classes besides the normal everyday classes, and Sky you need to go to teamwork class with Gavin work on your teamwork. Okay now that you know that there will be a piece of paper with the times when you need to go to your classes. You can go back to your dorm and get some rest. Thats All you need to do for the rest of the day no classes or exercises." Mrs.Adam's said. The team nodded and left back to the Academy. They went inside and went up the stairs. The team walked into their dorm and they all flopped onto their beds. Gavin groaned he was so tired and his back hurt. Ally was stressed about not being able to use her weapon right. Sky was still mad at Gavin and was mad that she needed to go to a class with him for teamwork. Ellie was fine she was just tired and so was Willow. Willow was proud of herself she thought she did good at being a leader. The team decided to rest and take naps and start working on stuff in the morning.

Holy flippin crap! This has been a lot of fun to write but also hard because I didn't know how to end this chapter. Anyways, I originally came up with this story because I wanted to make like an anime but obviously I can't do that because I don't know how to make an anime. So I decided to make it into a book. I've had lots of ideas for it and I'm happy I'm making this. Well anyways bye amazing people!
