Bendy and Dash in: Sick Daze

It was an early Saturday morning and Bendy ran downstairs to have breakfast, which is his favorite marshmallow cereal. He was really happy today. Why? Cause their dad was taking them to the zoo.

Eventually Glitch made his way down to the kitchen to make some coffee, and saw Bendy happily munching away.

Glitch: ah good morning, lil ink spot. I see you're up and at em.

Bendy: hiya dad~ I'm so excited for the zoo today!

Glitch: slow down there! You know we gotta wait on Dash.

Bendy: *looks thoughtful* yeah... shouldn't she be up by now? I'm surprised she's sleeping late, usually we'd fight to get in the bathroom

Glitch: most likely catching up on sleep. She said that she would do that when on summer vacation, after having to get up so early

Bendy: good point

So, they continued to wait as Glitch had his coffee and Bendy packed a few things in his backpack.

Two hours had gone by and Dash still wasn't awake yet...

Bendy: *worried* did something happen?

Glitch: I don't know, but I'm gonna find out *heads upstairs*

Bendy: *follows*

In the bedroom, they find Dash's sleeping bump, but they hear some soft groans

Glitch: *gently picks her up* Dash what's wrong?

Dash: ...

Glitch: *checks her temperature* you're burning up...

Bendy: *on his shoulder* she's sick?

Glitch: I'm afraid so... could be a bug that's going around

Bendy: that was quick, considering she was perfectly fine last night

Glitch: doesn't take long for viruses to attack

Bendy looked quite saddened that she was sick, it means she couldn't go to the zoo either. Well he soon took matters into his own hands...

One of the first things he did was try to give her some medicine... of course she was being stubborn about it...

Bendy: ok Dashie~ here comes the airplane, it's getting ready to land! *imitates a plane landing*

Dash: *keeps her mouth shut*

Bendy: oh no! The plane has to make a sudden u-turn and try again!

After his fifth attempt...

Bendy: ok time for plan B!

He gives her a medical lollipop...

Bendy: why didn't I think of this sooner?

After that, in order to cheer her up a bit, he read her some stories. Some he read had multiple characters and he did voices for each one, being a toon and all, his voice range was off the charts... Dash laughed at the voices. They really helped bring the stories to life. Bendy of course is happy to see her smiling.

Later on that day, he gave her some chicken noodle soup

Bendy: alright Dash, dad made you some of his homemade soup. We both made sure it wasn't too hot for you.

Dash: *eating a little at a time*

Meanwhile, in Bendy's mind, Henry was watching everything unfold, and chuckling at Bendy's attempts. So far he's doing good tho.

Back outside, Dash had finished the soup, and was currently sleeping...

Bendy: good, she's resting. Guess I'll make her a get well card

Soon he got to work and added so many different and eye catching colors... however when it came down to the glitter... well, let's just say that he overdid it... big time!

Bendy: *looking at the glittery mess on the table and floor* dad's gonna kill me! I hope he doesn't... I only made the card to cheer up Dash...

He tried to get as much of it up as he could, tho a bunch got stuck to himself, cause you know he's made of ink and it can get quite sticky... cue him rolling around and trying his best to get it off... and failing. Glitch heard the noise and found Bendy in a literal ball. He only chuckled and took the ink spot to the bathroom.

After a nice bath and drying session, Bendy came out glitter free... but now looked like a poof ball. He wasn't amused...

For the reminder of the day, Bendy kept a close eye on Dash and made sure she was doing alright and got what she needed. Eventually, Glitch found him sleeping on the edge of Dash's bed. Wore himself out, taking care of his sister. With a smile, he tucked Bendy in his own bed for the night.

Time skip: two days later...

Dash was feeling a whole lot better. So much so, that Glitch decided to try the zoo trip again. She of course was quite excited. They both sat at the table and waited for Bendy. As Glitch read the paper, he suddenly looked up...

Dash: what's wrong?

Glitch: I don't know, but I'm getting the most randomest case of deja vu...

He started to get up and go check on Bendy, but he didn't have to. Smol boi came in, wrapped up in a blanket and looked quite gray...

Glitch: Bendy, are you ok? You look a bit... off your normal color...

Bendy: ...I don't feel so good...

Then he sneezed and sniffled. Glitch then figured out what possibly happened: while taking care of Dash and being around her the virus infected him. That would also probably explain why he barely touched his dinner the night before and went to bed early. That was very much unlike him. With a chuckle, he picked up the smol boi and carried him to bed, with Dash following.

She didn't like seeing her brother sick in bed, cause it means that they can't play together, so she decides to repay his kindness, by taking care of him, like he did for her. Deja vu indeed...

Glitch watched as Dash got her toy doctor kit and gave Bendy a medicine lollipop.

Glitch: yup those two are perfect for each other...

Meanwhile, with Henry... he decided to doodle a little Bendy cartoon short about what happened the past few days. Bendy was gonna be bedridden for a while, and the scenery wasn't gonna change any time soon, so why not?

Henry: good thing when that being fused me with him, it was thoughtful enough to give me a living space and plenty of ink and paper work with...

And with that he got started on the new short...

So I'm sure some of you are wondering what exactly happened for Henry to be fused with Bendy. Basically, I pulled a Detective Pikachu on them, but more permanent. If you've seen the movie, then you know what I did lol.

This story is part of the Inked Odyssey au, hence my friend's oc being the dad of Bendy, instead of Henry

This takes place before Tia came into the picture, that's why she's not around
