"Why are we here Mercy", Warden asked in desperation, "To fight for Apollyon", Mercy replied, "Don't you feel as though it's wrong, like we're fighting for the wrong reason?", Warden asked in a concerned voice, "Sometimes I do feel that way", Mercy stated. Warden showed Mercy his Blackstone Legion stone. "We tool an oath, you too, you all did, and now... it doesn't even matter!", Warden said before throwing the stone over the edge into the snow.
Mercy Walked away while Warden stayed there and thought to himself, 'I never knew Mercy was so... beautiful, WHAT!, am I in love with Mercy?!'.
Warden walked off towards the forest.
'I hope Warden doesn't find out that I like him, but I need him to know how I feel', Mercy thought as she walked down to the fortress.
Cross walked over to Apollyon and the food, "Why aren't we burning all this food?", "Why would we?!" Apollyon asked, "They would starve, die", Cross explained in anger, "They would unite, but with little food, enough for two maybe three clans, they fight over what's left", Apollyon explained.
Cross walked over to a stone brick wall and saw a stone with the Blackstone emblem on it, 'This is Wardens', Cross thought, "We all took an oath", Mercy stated, "I know", Cross replied, "By the way, do you know how this got here?", "Warden threw it over the ledge", Mercy explained.
Warden was walking along a dirt road surrounded by a forest towards the Iron legion's old chapel.
'Jeez, I'm feeling tired, maybe I'll take a-a rest', Warden thought while falling over.
-TIME SKIP-
"How long was I out?!" Warden yelled waking up, there was a whole army of Blackstone heading towards Warden.
Warden hid in the bushes waiting for them to pass by until he heard some footsteps coming towards him.
Warden pulled out his longsword and swung it at the Blackstone knight, he swung left but the Blackstone blocked it and then Warden saw a familiar knight.
"Mercy?!", Warden asked in excitement, "Ssssh" Mercy commanded, "They're coming, a whole Blackstone Army".
'God she fights well!', Warden thought, "I found a little cave that's deep in the forest, unless you wanna go back to Apollyon, come with me", Mercy said, "Ok, I'll come", Warden Answered.
-TIME SKIP-
Mercy was sitting on a log on its side next to the fire while Warden was on picket (Lookout). "Well I'm off", Warden said. Warden took off his armour bit by bit, and left only his pants on. Mercy turned around and saw Warden and blushed at the sight of his abs.
'Oh my god, he looks so... hot, wait, AM I IN LOVE WITH WARDEN?!, Mercy thought in surprise.
'My god, I never knew Mercy had such nice curves, I hope she doesn't see me blush!', Warden thought.
-MERCY'S DREAM-
"Run Mercy, get out of here!", Sean (Her brother) yelled, "I can't just leave you!", Mercy said in fright.
Her brother was caught underneath a collapsed wooden house on fire after the Vikings raided it. One of the wooden beams snapped almost instantly and kill Mercy's brother.
-TIME SKIP-
Warden woke up to the sound of birds chirping and went to put his armour back on, but before he could move he saw Mercy's arm wrapped around his waist. He gently moved her arm and then went to put armour on.
He turned around to see Mercy just waking up.
"Good morning Mercy!", Warden said cheerfully, "You had your arm around me last night, why?", Warden asked kindly, "Oh, uh, I just had a bad dream", Mercy explained, "Do you wanna talk about it?", Warden asked, "Maybe later", Mercy said as she blushed, "Why are you blushing?", Warden asked curiously, "Oh no reason", Mercy said.
-TIME SKIP-
"Can you hear that?", Warden asked, "Yes!", Mercy replied.
Both Warden and Mercy ran out of the cave because of the army of Blackstone soldiers coming their way.
-TIME SKIP-
They had made there way to an old abandoned farm and set up camp.
"You ok Mercy, you look concerned about something", Warden said, "I-I'm ok, just got a few things on my mind, as you can tell", Mercy replied.
'That's the one thing I can't tell you Warden. I just want to be another one of those thoughts in your head...Gosh, I do sound crazy, don't I. Love can be a strange thing, I suppose. And that's the one thing I want right now, for him love me back. He's smart, he's cute and I don't know how or when to tell him", Mercy thought.
"Well, I'm off", Warden said tiredly, "Me too, by the way, which bed do you want?", Mercy asked, "I might have this one", Warden said, pointing to the bed on the left of the room, "Ok, I'll just take this one", Mercy said with disappointment, "U-unless you want this one instead", Warden offered, "Ok, thanks", Mercy said.
-MERCY'S DREAM-
"Why didn't you save me, I thought you were my sister", Sean said in anger, "I tried, I really did try!", Mercy said in sadness.
-TIME SKIP-
Warden woke up with Mercy hugging him in his bed, not letting go. Warden was comfortable with it so he just drifted off to sleep.
-TIME SKIP-
"What's that smell?", Warden asked, "It smell really meaty", "That's because it is, I killed a cow outside and cooked it", Mercy explained, "Oh yeah by the way, I found you hugging me in bed last night, why?", Warden asked, "Oh, uh, I had another bad dream, sorry", Mercy explained, " Are you sure . you don't want to talk about it?", Warden asked, "I-I'm not sure", Mercy said sadly, "Ok, for the last couple of days you've been acting strange when you're around me, why is that?", Warden asked,
"Is it because you don't trust me, or you don't like me, or do you have feelings for me?", "Noooo... no I don't have feelings for you, do you?", Mercy asked, "U-um, n-no", Warden replied, "Ok, If you say so", Mercy said, 'O my god, does he really like me?!'.
