Chapter 1: The Reaping Day

Patton sits next to his boyfriend Roman enjoying the day before the Reaping starts and they chose people from different districts to represent their districts. The next day comes around and it is officially Reaping day. Patton gets ready in a nice white outfit and walks outside to meet Roman since they always walk to the games together. Once they get to the meeting place for the reaping. They go through the security checks together and go to get a place to stand next to each other. The coordinator walks out. "Welcome to the 75th Hunger Games!" Patton stays close to Roman looking around. She shows the video that she shows every year, then comes time to pick 2 boys from each district. She pulls a name out of the jar and reads it. "Patton sanders." everyone turns to look at him. Roman nudges him to go up. Patton nods and walks up to the stage. She helps him up and looks around at everyone. "Okay. Next name is...." She takes it out of the jar. "Roman sanders." Patton looks in his direction terrified. Roman starts walking up and hugs Patton. She smiles. "Our tributes from District 2. And may the odds be ever in your favor." She walks off with the boys following. They head on over to the train and get on. While they are eating they are met by their instructor who explains what they need to know going into the interview and tribute parade. Later in the day they get ready for the tribute parade. As each district comes in they have a different color district one with yellow, their district with red and district 3 with blue which is a guy named Logan and a guy named Virgil. They explain everything that is going to happen. Later that night, it is time for the interviews. Patton and Roman getting ready while watching the other tributes go and how the interviewer gose into personal questions. Then it is time for Roman to go on stage and awnser the questions. One question makes Roman not speak for a bit. The interviewer asked about him and Patton being a couple. Roman nods and they move on to Patton who awnsers a question that is very personal to him. As Patton starts walking off the stage people start clapping. The night before the hunger games Patton gose to roman's room and ends up sleping together.
