Lucy shut her bag tightly that was laying on her neatly done bed.
She sat down on the bed next to her bag and tried to gather her thoughts.
This was the last time she would be in New York. This was seriously the last time she would see her friends, and she would especially miss the parties. And she was not looking forward moving to Oklahoma.
She was rudely awakened from her daydreams when her mother bounced into the room.
"Are you ready?! " The mother said stressed.
"Because you need to go now!" The mother harshly said without letting Lucy answer the first question.
"Yes mother, I'm done. Is the cab here?" Lucy said with her sweetest voice she could pull off. She didn't want to pick a fight before she was leaving.
"It's here now, so you better hurry" The mother replied bitterly.
Lucy quickly grabbed her bag and ran to the kitchen, she took her flight ticket and her extra money to the journey that lay on the kitchen table.
She went with large steps towards the front door and went rapidly to the waiting taxi driver who was leaning on the taxi. He slowly walked up to her and took her bags. He then walked even slower to the trunk and laid the bags down in the trunk.
Lucy went to sit in the backseat and waited for the taxi driver to arrive. The driver sat down in the driver seat and started the car, then drove them to the airport.
When they arrived to the airport, Lucy stepped out of the cab and walked to the car trunk to get her bag. She took up her cigarettes from her jacket pocket and lit one quickly.
She sucked nervously on the cigarette while she was thinking about her cousins, the Curtis brothers would like her. When she was done with the cigarette she let it fall to the ground.
She went to the airport and rapidly made her way to her airplane.
She showed the ticket to the lady and stepped into the plane.
Lucy sat down on her seat, and after a while, she dozed off.
~~5-6h later~~
Lucy woke up from the captain saying that the airplane would have hit the destination.
She stretched and yawned, and stood up. She took her bag down and took herself out of the plane.
Lucy called for a cab and paid him.
When they arrived to the house, Lucy went fast to the house.
She knocked, and male voice said "It's open"

And yes, this was just a filler. To show how she got there, and show her relationship with her mother.
