DANI STORIES

Period.

 8am – Morning Time*

You feel sharp stabbing pains in your stomach as your eyes adjust to the morning light peeking through your blinds. You rub your stomach in pain and groan to yourself, "Uggghhh.. why today?"

You head into the bathroom and do your 'business'. Knowing your luck, your period just had to start today. Today of all days. You and your boyfriend, Daniel Seavey, haven't spent much time together for months due to him constantly being on tour, so you recently planned to go on a massive hiking date together. You were super-excited, up until this moment..

-Ding-

As you leave your bathroom to make yourself some breakfast, you hear your phone sounding. Almost perfectly timed, it's Daniel. You slowly waddle across the room and reach out for your phone.

Daniel: Hey princess, I'm so excited! Pick you up at 11, yeah? Can't wait to see you! <3<3<3

You sigh, knowing how gutted he is going to be. You reply back:

Y/N: Omg, Dani I'm so sorry. I'm not feeling too great today. Maybe another time, yeah? I love you so much handsome <3

Your phone suddenly dings once again, surprisingly quick.

Daniel: Of course baby.. another time :( And I love you too <3

You slide your phone across the kitchen counter in anger and go about your day.

*30 minutes later*

You are making yourself some delicious pancakes when there is a knock at your apartment door.

"One second!" you call out. You quickly put down your utensils and rush over to the door. To your surprise, Daniel is stood in the doorway, a bag full of junk food in one hand and his free hand now draped along your waist.

"Im sorry this happened to you, beautiful, I wish I could stop all periods, but, I cant," he says hugging you tightly and dropping the bags of food on the ground.

"Awww, Dani. You don't need to be so worried. Its natural, im used to it."

He kisses your forehead gently and heads into your apartment, placing the bag of junk food in your 'Unhealthy Cupboard.'

*30 minutes later*

You are laying in bed, snuggling against Daniel's chest, one of his arms around your waist, the other massaging your stomach. He gently places a kiss on your cheek, "I love you so flippin' much y/n."

You reply back, snuggling closer, "I love you back. How did you know I was on my period Dani?" you say stroking his chest.

"You think I cant tell when my girlfriend is on her period. Haha, you crazy girl. "

*1 hour later*

You are still snuggled up next to Daniel, this time he is fast asleep, still caressing you tightly. As you begin to turn round, you feel super gross so you get up to check.

"Oh sh*t," you whisper to yourself. You saw blood on the bed sheets. Daniel's eyes peeked open and he jumped up and rushed to where you were standing.

"Im sorry, Dani. I lost track of time."

"Never be sorry, beautiful. Like you said, its completely natural." He places another kiss on your forehead and leads you into the bathroom by your hand. He begins running the tap for the bath and kisses you once again. "You take care of yourself, love. I will get the bed cleaned up." He sprays some bubble bath into the bathtub and leaves the bathroom, shutting the door behind him.

...

Later on in the evening, you head out the bathroom and see Daniel, completely relaxed on some new clean sheets. As soon as he sees you, he rushes to your side, kissing your cheek several times and says, "You feeling better, baby?"

You reply, "Yes, thank you." He fluffs up the pillows and motions for you to lay on the bed. You lie down and he sits next to you, gently stroking your face. "I would never judge you y/n. Periods are completely normal, I understand that every grown woman goes through this. When I asked you to be my girl, I knew I would be signing up to this kind of stuff and I enjoy it. Every second I spend with you, Im happy and it is my job to make sure your happy. So I rung the boys and told them I wont be sleeping at ours tonight, or for a week. I am staying with you until your horrible period is over, okay baby." You smile to yourself, wondering how you got this man.
