Prank

A few days later….

Lennae found out she was a natural at changing but stunk at most sports. She had thought about that after the run-in with Justin. She had only one worry; when would she have to go home? Was this a year round camp or just a summer camp? She wasn’t sure which one she preferred.

The girls had decided to skip the training session for something a little more fun. They settled for sitting in their cabin and gossiping.

The door to the cabin burst open. In walked Rebecca laughing uncontrollably. “It worked,” she said. That was surprising.

“Are they really that dumb? They put on shoes with the laces tied together?” Lennae said, laughing with her friend. They had had help from Justin. Only a boy could get into a boys’ cabin. “I want to see.” She pushed Rebecca out of the doorway. The boys from the yellow team were stumbling around outside. It was hilarious.

“We did well. We might want to untie those tonight, though. If we don’t we could be in big trouble,” Justin said as they high-fived each other. “Uh-oh. We might want to run now!” Two of the older boys from the group who had untied their shoes were heading towards them. They looked furious. The three friends changed forms and ran.

They stopped in a clearing. Lennae looked around and instantly recognized the place. There were a few cabins and a building in the middle that looked like it was an office. “My dream,” she murmured. When her friends gave her a questioning glance she decided to explain. “I was here last night. I saw it then woke up. I had no clue where it was.”

Justin was still surprised that Lennae knew anything about this place. ”I’ve been here for a while and never saw it, or for that matter heard of it,” he said. Then his face changed. “We can come back later. Someone is coming.” But they were too late.

“Well, a new person,” said a new voice. A man stood behind them. He had black hair and was quite tall. His eyes were green and he wore a green t-shirt and blue jeans. He looked pretty young. “It has been a while since they have sent someone to us.”

The friends exchanged a questioning glance. Lennae spoke for the group, “We weren’t sent here. We got lost, sir.” The new man stared at them. ”Sorry.”

“Well. You are about to find out what we do to trespassers here,” the man said.

They ended up washing dishes for the man as punishment. They were in a building that they had seen when they came. It was mainly a kitchen but it had a few table to eat at. They were covered in grime like no one around here could spare enough time to actually wash them. There was a couple of ‘Ewws’ and ‘Gross’ from all three of them.

“I wonder what they do here,” whispered Rebecca. She was usually the last one to speak. She liked to keep to herself more than the other two. Justin shrugged.

“I bet they take kids from the camp and make them servants,” Lennae whispered back jokingly. She got hit upside the head from both directions, being in the middle. “I wasn’t serious!”

Justin flicked soapy water at Lennae who flicked some back. When Justin did it again he missed Lennae and hit Rebecca. They ended up in an all out soap war. When they finished the kitchen-type-place was covered in soap. “Oops,” was all they said.

They found rags and a mop and cleaned it up. They probably should have headed back to camp around then, but of course they didn’t. Justin looked outside.

“Crud. We need to head back but we might get lost if we go now,” he said. The sun was setting and it was getting dark.

“Did he say we could leave when we were done?” Lennae wondered aloud.

Suddenly, the man they had talked to earlier was in the room. How he got in there without being noticed they didn’t know. When Justin turned around he nearly jumped out of his skin. Rebecca and Lennae looked at the man with surprised and startled expressions.

“Come with me,” he said.
