Within one year, not only have I started high school; but I've lost everything, been shot at, stabbed, threatened, and broken up with. The worst part is that I'm enjoying everything that's happening...well, maybe except the breaking up part.
My name is Jacob. I'm a sophomore in high school. And not only do I have to deal with normal high school problems, but now I have to work with the CIA. It's been about 6 months since I've worked with them, and nothings been "normal" since.
Let's get you caught up with everything that's happened with me. Less than a halfway into my freshman year, I was approached by a shady man in a black suit. He told me that I wasn't living up to my potential, and that he knew why. The man knew stuff about me that I've never told anyone...like the fact that I'm adopted. I purposely kept that to myself since I moved in with my adopted parents. They were the nicest folks, but I don't think they'd be as nice if they knew why I was really here.
One year ago, I was a normal kid. Wanted to play football and maybe even go to college. The most unexpected thing happened, and all my plans changed. My parents were killed. Not only were they killed, but they were killed by the family I'm with now.
The man told me that his name was Karlos. He also told me that I had a rare opportunity to be a part of getting justice for my parents. He told me that my parents were killed because of something they knew, and that I could be a part of killing the people who killed my parents.
If I'm being honest, I don't know if I believe Karlos. One thing is for sure though...I'm going to find out who killed my parents, and I'm going to put a bullet in between their eyes.
