Hello! Thank you for choosing to read my story! Before you begin reading, I'd just like to clarify a few things.
1. In the anime, it is said that Hyakkimaru is 16, however Dororo's age in never specified. Therefore in this story, from where the anime left off, I've decided to say Dororo was 13. I realise this only gives Dororo and Hyakkimaru a 3 year age difference, but I feel that for this specific story, this age difference works better.
2. In the end of the anime, Hyakkimaru and Dororo go their separate ways. In this story, it takes place six years after they parted. So when they reunite, Dororo is 19, and Hyakkimaru 22. During this time, Hyakkimaru as doing just as the anime said: finding himself. Dororo has followed in her father's footsteps and become the chief of her own clan.
