Luke's P.O.V.

Ever since that rehearsal Olivia has obviously been holding back. Whenever we hang out, she doesn't try to touch me as much and doesn't go out of her way to speak to me. Sometimes I'll catch her looking at me and she'll only force a smile or quickly avert her eyes. I really thought we had a connection that day, everything seemed so natural, that is, until she ran away and hid in the bathroom. I can't help but be jealous when Olivia easily cuddles with the other boys and goes rigid with reluctance if I try to embrace her. There's no denying it, she hates me, and god do I miss her.

Since then we've been having gigs every weekend. Sometimes even during the week.

Olivia was having a hard time keeping up with the popularity of our band. She was once forbidden by her parents to rehearse with us until she got her grades up. That didn't take too long with the band as her motivation.

Plus she was actually really smart. If you asked her about the right stuff she wouldn't stop talking and just word vomit all the knowledge she had on the subject. It was one of the things I loved about her. When she got excited about something her eyes would light up and she'd babble with a huge grin on her face.

We even got an agent! After one of our gigs at someone's birthday party, a young woman in a professional dress came up to Michael and I and told us she was interested in our band. She gave us her card. Her name was Veronica Hughes. It seemed pretty legit.

The next day at rehearsal, we called the number on the card after thoroughly discussing what we should do which involved me typing in the numbers Calum read aloud. We all crowded around the cell phone on speaker phone and listened intently.

"Hello, this is Veronica Hughes."

I quickly pointed to Michael and mouthed,"you talk". He vigorously shook his head and pointed to me. I shook my head and pointed back at him in response. Finally Calum smacked Michael on the back and Michael choked out,"hi, I'm Michael Clifford from Five Seconds of Summer. I was calling about the talent agent thing you spoke to me about yesterday."

We all glared at Michael as he chatted on obliviously.

"Oh yes I remember you," Veronica replied. "I'm so glad you called. So what do you think? You guys like my offer?" She asked.

"Yeah," Michael smiled.

"Great! Come by my office tomorrow and you and the band can sign the contracts. Of course since you're minors, you're parents would have to be present and sign."

There was silence on our end. We all looked at Olivia whose eyes were saucers and the color drained from her face. There were obviously many questions running through her head, but the most important was would her parents really let her sign onto an agency? They never really liked the idea of her being in a band especially when it started effecting her grades. She went from high As to low As and high Bs. To most that wasn't a big deal but to her parents it was like the difference between becoming a lawyer or a drug dealer.

"Everything okay?" Veronica asked.

Michael quickly replied,"Yeah see you tomorrow," and ended the call.

"I'm screwed," Olivia whispered and put her head in her hands. On the inside I wished I could crawl over to her and hold her against my chest and let her know we'd figure everything out. Then I'd kiss her forehead and nose and she'd rest her head in my lap and I'd calm her by running my fingers through her long blonde waves. My exterior stayed put and gave her a sympathetic look.

Ashton went to scoot closer to her and pulled her into his arms. My jaw clenched as he stroked her hair. Michael noticed my envious vibe and spoke up," you could always get Luke's parents to sign for you, you look like you could be related." I shot him a glare. I didn't think of her as my sister at all...

"How?" Olivia asked, thankfully pulling away from Ashton.

"Both blonde, both tall, both pale. I could see it..." Michael explained.

"Maybe..." Olivia thought aloud, chewing on her bottom lip in a way that made me suppress pulling my lip ring in my mouth.

"But my parents would kill me if they found out, I'd be dead to them for not getting their permission. I don't think you guys understand how important my future is to my parents. They don't think that the band is a practical option for me."

"But if we don't at least try, they'll never really know. For all they know we could get to work with All Time Low and be as big as... One Direction- that is as a punk rock band and not a boyband..." I butted in.

"We wouldn't be a boyband with Olivia anyway you stupid shit," Michael taunted making Cal and Ash laugh. Olivia glanced down at her covered but prominent breasts and back at me, as if to prove that she was indeed female. We shrugged at the same time making her giggle and a smile spread across my face.

"I'll talk to my parents tonight and call when I have the answer. I'll see you guys later, I have loads of homework," Olivia said.

We all got up to hug her goodbye. She wrapped her arms around my torso quickly but tightly before grabbing her things and heading for the door.

I watched her go and I wished our goodbye could have been something more like her mouth on mine but I held back the want to chase after her and give her a proper goodbye.
