Reya's pov

When I came back from the office I received a text from Leandra my bestfriend asking me to be ready for a party at 8 even though I didn't want to go I had no choice whatsoever so I pulled out a black floor length dress with a slit on my left reaching upto my thigh after that I started on my makeup which consisted of red lipstick , mascara and smokey eyeshadow and I decided to wear a pair of red Louboutin heels then I looked at myself and sighed after waiting for fifteen minutes my doorbell rung .so I went to let Leandra in after that I grabbed my clutch and we were out of my penthouse. We got in Leandra's Lamborghini Aventador then we're on our way. When we reached the party I went to greet the people along with Leandra when we were done greeting them I went to take a seat at the reserved table but soon enough a guy with black hair and blue eyes approached me then asked me for a dance to which I nodded my head and we started dancing but halfway through the dance I felt someone staring at me so I turned to see who it was while dancing and when I caught the eye of the person my breath caught hitched I don't know how he makes me mushy just by looking at me after all this time. I felt him approaching me but I couldn't move it was like I was frozen in place.
I was married to Aaron through a business deal which would benefit

both our companies so I agreed to it and the deal was for two years we would stay together then we would separate and go our separate ways. I didn't plan on falling for him but however as the time passed by I started falling for him slowly and I thought he was too but guess not. Because everything was going so well and I was going to tell him that I loved him and expected that he would reciprocate those feelings but what happened was the opposite.
Flashback
I was waiting for Aaron to come home that night to finally confess my feelings so when the living room door opened I looked up at him .
I gathered my courage and told him " I want to talk to you about something".to which he nodded his head so I told him I loved him and wanted us to stay together even after the contract terminates . He looked at me for a moment before he started to laugh when he saw that I was not laughing with him he sobered before saying that" he could never love me and he only married me for the contract alone . After saying that he turned around and walked away.

As I saw him walking towards me I couldn't handle it so before the tears threatened to spill  I ran out and got my car then left
