"So, why're you in here so often huh?" Mia asked as she leant in and smiled at him. "I mean really."
"I'm looking for someone." Brian admitted after weeks of getting nowhere and all his leads reaching a dead end.
"Oh, yeah who?" She asked and watched Brian smile to himself.
"Girl, eighteen drives a purple Chevy Camaro with dark pink stripes and underglow." Brian's description of the girl followed and Dom moved to open the door so he could hear clearer."Eighteen's a little young for you?" Mia asked carefully and looked dubiously at Brian.
"I'm just trying to keep her out of trouble." Brian answered defensively, glancing at Dom as he stood and left.
"You know who he's looking for?" Mia asked Dom once Brian had pulled away.
"Yeah, sweet girl and one hell of a driver... haven't seen her around for a while and I don't think she picked up the last of the parts she payed for at Harrys'." He muttered, still staring out to the road.
"You think she's alright?" Mia asked, her voice flooded with concern until Dom chuckled.
"She seemed to be able to handle herself, I'm sure she's fine." He smiled when she nodded, satisfied with the answer but Dom still muttered that he'd ask around after her.
"Hey man, listen you seen a purple Camaro around recently?" Brian asked Hector who frowned."You know Toretto asked me the same question last week but that kid ain't been around here for a while." Hector cocked his head when Brian sighed.
"Alright well thanks anyway." He nodded and started to walk away but Hector caught up with him.
"So, she owe you money or something, just you're not racing and you're looking for her all over the place." He waited for Brian to answer, chuckling when Brian groaned.
"She's my little sister and she has a habit of getting in trouble, I figured she'd be out here trying to race Dom and get a quick buck but I guess I missed her." He chuckled to himself and glanced at his car.
"She'll turn up, she won the last race she had here and it was a big one." Hector insisted and Brian looked relieved at the thought.
"Hopefully I find her before she does something dumb." Was all Brian muttered as he headed off, not spotting Mia heading over to speak with Hector as he pulled away.
"Hey, you know that car girl you were after?" Mia asked as she saw the familiar car pull up outside.
"Yeah, you find her?" Brian asked hopefully and Mia smiled as she nodded to the door where Dom was marching a furious girl into the garage, muttering to her.
"(Y/N) where the hell have you been!" Brian yelled as soon as he saw you.
"Why do you even care, I was doing fine." You said as you yanked your arm from Dom's grip.
"Boosting cars from the cop's lockup is not doing fine, it's a dumb move when you don't trust the people you work with." Dom scolded and Brian looked surprised until you rolled your eyes.
"Whatever." You scoffed and stomped over to Mia who handed you a drink and started making you lunch.
"Thanks, she owe you anything?" Brian asked and grabbed at his wallet but Dom held up his hands.
"I know how it is looking after your sister... besides she didn't cause to much damage." Dom chuckled as Brian looked revived and shoved his wallet in his pocket. "Kids good with cars, you need her out of trouble send her my way... team her up with Jessie and we've got a great team."
"I am not doing anything with that idiot!" You declared making Mia laugh as she shook her head.
"We all know you think he's cute (Y/N)." She muttered and winked at you.
"Come on, we're going home and I'm taking your car." Brian said as he grabbed your food and shoved it in your hand, pushing you towards the door.
"You can't take my car!" You complained.
"You want it back then you need to earn it." Brian said, smiling slightly when Dom and Mia laughed.
"Oh yeah, how." You glared at your older brother and waited for him to give you an unrealistic answer which would simply mean you'd lost your car.
"You work it off with Dom, but no racing." He sighed when it looked like you weren't going to say yes until you shrugged.
"I'll work for Dom and race." You countered and Brian grinned.
"You race you split the rent." He laughed when you started to complain but eventually agreed, reluctantly letting Brian toss your keys to Mia for 'safe keeping' while Dom promised he would take care of it until you'd proved you wouldn't run off again.
"Hey, thanks for urm... keeping an eye on her." Brian muttered as you said goodbye and got in his truck.
"No problem, Letty and Mia like having her around." Dom smiled when you beeped the horn and Brian hurried over before you could hot wire the car.
