I didn't know that it would happen so soon.

I didn't expect that she would really do it.

But, right now, as I look down the balcony of the room I'm staying at, I am seeing blood—pool of blood—around her. Her eyes are close and her clothes are soak with that red liquid.

My best friend Sian is dead, and a very loud scream came out from me.

"SIAANN!" I shouted at top of my lungs.

My very first best friend is dead!

"ANONG NANGYARE MAC?" sigaw na tanong ni tatay Tino ng biglang pumasok sa kwarto ko.

Lumingon ako at nakita kong naguguluhan siya sa itsura ko.

"Mac? Anak? Bakit ka sumi—"

"I-Itay, si S-Sian po," napasinghot ako at napatakip ako ng mukha.

He hugs me then and asked me again. "Anong nangyayari Mac? Anong meron kay Sian?" nag-aalalang tanong ni itay.

I couldn't look down again, kaya I just used my right hand to point down.

"What in the world is going on here? It's so early in the morning and you," he pointed at me. "And mang Tino are already shouting!"

Humikbi ako at tinignan siya ng masama.

"IKAW! IKAW ANG MAY KASALANAN! IKAW ANG MAY KAGAGAWAN NG LAHAT NG ITO! ITO BA ANG GUSTO MO HA? ANG MAWALA ANG NAG-IISA MONG ANAK? HA? THEN BE MERRY AND CELEBRATE BECAUSE SHE ALREADY GRANTED YOUR VERY WISH!" I shouted at him while tears are falling down my cheeks.

"What the hell are you saying woman?" he asked in a very cold voice.

A cold breeze coming from the open balcony added to the chills that I'm already feeling. I even heard itay Tino's cries.

I met his cold gaze with a glare.

"Why don't you look down and see for your own self Mr. Krauss," I challenged him venomously.

"And why would I do tha—"

"Gawin niyo na lang!" I shouted at him, still crying.

He started to walk towards the balcony but he looked at me first before doing so. I watched his actions and expressions intently.

Let's see how you would react Mr. Krauss.

He slowly made his way at the end of balcony and, finally, looks down. His eyes went big at what he just saw, and his whole body starts to shake.

"N-no," I heard him whispered. "N-No! t-this can't be h-happening."

I'm surprised.

"Sian," he whispers. "SIAAAANN! HINDIII!"

And he runs out from this room to go with his dead daughter.

Am I seeing things, or did I really saw that? Is he, really. . . crying?

The last time I heard this annoying beeping sound, I was the one with the IV on, but now? I don't think of it as annoying as before anymore. I think of it as a hope, a sign, a material that keeps me inform that my best friend Sian is still alive.
