Bakugou woke up early in the morning, covered in sweat and filled with agony. He rubbed the sleepy from his eyes before checking the clock.
'04:31. Too fuckin early.' But he couldn't go back to sleep, so he decided to get ready.
He took a quick shower, brushed his teeth and hair, and more. For some reason, he always smelled like caramel after he showered so he didn't bother to put on cologne, which he thought smelt nasty anyway. He pulled on his uniform, the pants more baggy than his preference, but it'd have to do. He'd just have to tighten his belt to make it fit around his thin waistline.
He fumbled with the tie for about twenty minutes before finally throwing it away and calling it a 'waist of his time'. He sulked down the stairs in his socks and went to the kitchen. His father wasn't awake, and he wanted it to stay that way.
His father had been distant and distracted ever since that dumb letter came in. And he had every right to be. The love of his life was stripped away from him forever.
Bakugou cursed under his breath as he looked in the refrigerator. Little to no food was present in the shelves. He had to eat cereal. Again. But he didn't mind. Not one bit. It was now his role to become an adult. To look after himself and his dad.
After he put away his dirty bowl he checked the time and decided to go in early. He slipped on his shoes and grabbed his bag as he walked out of the door, leaving a note that said he'd be back late because he would go grocery shopping.
He sulked down the sidewalk as he made his way to school, which was over 3 miles away. It would take 30 minutes to walk there alone, but he had time. The sun was barely peaking over the horizon when he left his house, and now it was illuminating the street and houses in an orange glow. Birds chirp happily and the crickets of the night began to fade away. The cool breeze sent a light chill down Bakugou's spine, which he hated but savored at the same time.
It was a nice morning, just way too cold for his liking.
Bakugou had always been sensitive to the cold. It could be 72 degrees Fahrenheit and he'd still be freezing. He was well built, but was barely outside, his porcelain skin the result of that.
When he was younger, he'd like to go to the playground with his parents. He was tanned and the sun had bleached his already platinum blond hair. But as he got older and his mom came home very rarely, he refused to go play outside and preferred reading or exercising indoors. He taught himself how to fight and would usually get in trouble at school for testing his improvement on others. Because of this, no one wanted to be around him and he became isolated.
Bakugou soon was snapped out of his thoughts when he saw the golden gates of his new school. Thankfully, the school year hadn't started yet when he moved here, though he was surprised he was accepted to such a prestigious school due to his records. Especially a school such as UA, the toughest military school in the entire nation of Japan. Most come in through physical exams and some through money. Very few are accepted with scholarships.
He walked up the stairs into the semi-vacant building. He changed his shoes and wandered the halls for a few minutes until trying to find his classroom. He came across a large door and scoffed.
"These fuckers need to chill. Even the fuckin doors looks fancy...." he muttered in a volume only he could hear.
He slowly opened the door and to his surprise, there's a blue haired robot like dude sitting in his chair. The room had no windows and the desks are lined up in alphabetical order it seems. It's felt claustrophobic in here.
