Rejection

Chapter 6

I had been running for twenty minutes when I heard something following me. A few minutes later I heard a wolf howl, I started to run faster and I was also beginning to panic.

I look backed to see three wolves and a couple of wolves in their human form chasing me and gaining on me fast.

I tried to run even faster but I tripped over and one of the wolves tackled me keeping me on the ground.

"What are you doing here rogue?" He glared at me. I shook the wolf off me and walked behind a tree to turn, I grabbed some clothing from my bag and get dressed. Once I was fully dressed I walked back over to the guy who asked me the question.

"I'm here because I was leaving my pack." I say strongly, I was looking him in the eye which seemed to make him angry.

"Why did you leave? Daddy didn't give you your allowance?" He said mockingly. A lump formed in my throat and I tried to swallow it.

"My dad is dead and so is my mother." I said with tears in my eyes and looked towards the ground. I wiped the tears away and then looked back at him.

"I left because I was treated like shit for ten years, I was teased and beaten daily. I was the pack slave and had to do every chore there. I was the pack's punching bag. When they were angry I got hit, when they were celebrating I got hit, when they were sad I was hit. I was something they could take their emotions out on and I have scars. Today I finally left that place I call hell to find somewhere that I would get my happiness back, somewhere I could call home." By the end I'm crying and just about ready to collapse, one of the guys noticed this and ran over to me before I did.

He wrapped an arm around my waist to keep me up right but I was just about ready to pass out.

Two wolves changed back to their human form and walk over to me. As they get closer I see they're twins, both having the small hair and height with their facial features almost identical.

"I'm Jason and I'm going to be your new best friend whether you like it or not." One of the twins say and I smile at him and give him a hug. I pull back from him and face the other twin.

"I'm Alex your other new best friend, I'm going to be better then him though." He pointed toward Jason and I laughed.

The that was holding me looked at me. "Hi, my name is Ethan and don't worry about them two, you don't have to he friends with them."

The one who was pissed off looked at me and walked over and stood in between the twins.

"What's your name?" He asks me and gave me a small smile.

"Its Alexi... My name is Lexi and yours?" I didn't tell him my name is Alexia because I wanted to start again.

"Its Xavier and as Alpha of the Blood Dawn Pack I accept you, Lexi as my new pack member." I looked at him shocked. The Blood Dawn Pack is the strongest pack in the country.

"Thank you for accepting me." I smiled and thought of my new future.
