Ch. 10 Never Been Hurt

♡ A Month Later ♡

Mia's POV

This past month with Demi has been the absolute best of my life. She's amazing and just ugh being around her makes my day everyday. It just sucks that I have to leave so soon.

Demi went to a meeting today so i've been just chilling around the house. Leigh-Anne invited me to go have lunch with her at Denny's, since she was in town. We have gotten really close since that day at the nail shop. She doesn't know about me and Demi, no one does. She just thinks im here for summer vacay.

It was hot so I put on shorts and a tank top with a gray cardigan and put my hair into a messy bun. I just recently dyed the ends of my hair purple and Demi thought it was super hot so that was a plus.

I walked into Denny's and found Leigh-Anne waiting at a table near the back.

"Hey aren't your from Little Mix?", I said when i reached her.

She looked up cautiously "Yee- omg hi!" She jumped up and hugged me. I laughed and hugged her back. "Hey, girl." She let go and looked at me. "Damn I havent seen you since the concert. You look gorgeous Mia!"

I laughed, "Yeah,right. Look at you!" She laughed and we sat down.

A few minutes later the waiter came and I ordered a chicken salad sandwich.

Leigh-Anne and I caught up while we waited.

"So what's been going on with you and the girls?", I asked.

"Nothing much. Just doing a few little shows here and there nothing major. We're working on starting up our third album", she squealed.

"Woww. That's exciting", I commented as I sipped my soda.

"Yeah", she smiled. "But what about you? How's school going?"

"Ugh, tiring. Im so glad for these two months off. Its just soo much work to do", I complained.

"But at least you'll get a good job afterwards", she said reassuringly.

"Yeah", I smiled, "One more year left and then im doonneee."

She laughed.

The waiter came and set our food down.

I picked up a french frie and ate it.

"So how is your relationship with Demi going?", she asked matter-of-factly.

"Perfect", I smiled.

There was a moment of silence.

"Oh,wait,what.Oh my god." I covered my face with my hands.

"I knew it! I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!!", she laughed, "I cant believe you'd keep that a secret from me." She poked her lip out in mock hurt.

"Nobody knows", I groaned. "You cant tell anyone okay."

Leigh-Anne made a cross over her heart with her finger. "So how long?", she asked excitedly. "A month", I smiled. "Aww, im soo happy for you guys." "Thanks."

"So why are you keeping it a secret?", she asked while taking a bite of her food.

I shrugged, "Nobody really knows that Demi is bisexual. Its gonna be much more of a surprise than her just saying oh, hey guys I got a new boyfriend. Soo we're waiting until things get more serious to tell people."

Leigh-Anne nodded. "I see..so im kind of like the first person to know", she smiled excitedly. "Yeah", I laughed. "But you pushed it out of me!"

She put her hands up defensively. "All I did was ask a question, you willingly told me. I didnt do anything." I scowled at her and she laughed.
