After 5 years, SM is finally debuting again another girl group that is expected to make a hit in the kpop industry.

V.IVY - ivy, being an evergreen plant, symbolizes strong friendship. It also represents perennial life meaning that the group's goal is to last forever. The initial letter V stands for 'very', meaning the group is extreme in any ways. It also represents the roman numeral number five which is the total number of members in the group.
