XXII.

I pulled out my phone, opening my text log with jack. I tapped the camera button on screen and flipped the camera so it was facing me. i took the vase of flowers into my hand and walked towards the window. I raised my phone to the level of a flattering angle, and moved the vase up so the flowers covered the bottom half of my face. I quickly took a picture and put the flowers down in the window sill. walking towards the island, I quickly typed and sent,

'thank you for the flowers, my curly headed cutie. I love you sweet boy.💓'

I smiled glancing over the picture before locking my phone. I set it down on the island and skipped my way over to the fridge, pulling the left side of the fridge open and grabbed a dark berry dr. pepper. I cracked it open and sighed, 'I wish my boys were here so I could crack a cold one with them.'

my phone went off, and I picked it up and quickly unlocked it.

my love💓: kinny, I didn't send those to you...

I stared at my phone, confused.

lol what do you mean you didn't send those?

the three bubbles quickly popped up signaling that he was typing.

my love💓: babe, I mean exactly what I said. I didnt send you any flowers.

did you get a note with them?

I panicked and quickly texted him 'no' proceeding to lock my phone. I then pocketed my phone, ignoring jacks response that quickly came in. I grabbed the small little pastel yellow envelope and shoved it in my pocket, not caring on if it crumpled or not.
