You woke up to the fresh smell of cooked eggs and bacon, not waiting another second to get out of bed and getting ready so you could eat the delicous breakfast that awaited for you. You rustled through your drawers to find an outfit that looked reasonable yet suited your own personal style.
You settle with a nice warm outfit, the materials would work well with the frigid weather yet the clothing complimented your style.
Strolling over to your bathroom to do a quick face routine, you splahed your face with the fresh cold water and put on numerous amounts of cleansers and other lotions. Then ending with a face brimming of soft makeup.
After your morning routines were finished, you happily hop down the spiraling stairs that were made of a fancy wood and gracefully slid into the kitchen like a twelve year old. Earning a smile from both your parents.
"Good morning!" You said blissfully while giving both your parents a small hug. Then grabbing a plate and filling it with the delicious food that sat in a pan to keep warm.
"Morning, angle" Your mother chirped as she took a sip from her black coffee. "You're up early this morning...doesn't School start at around 8:00?" She said, looking towards a clock that was indicating that it way too early for you to be up.
"I wanted to say goodbye before you left for work! Also, I wanted to get some extra studying hours in." Sitting down with your bacon and eggs, you looked over to your dad, whose nose was stuck in his phone. Your mother had tried to clear her throat, in attempt to get your busy minded father to give you some attention.
"Hey Soo-jin, have you looked over those papers I gave to you the other day?" The busy minded man huffed at your mother, your father has been focused on work for as long as you can remember. He has good days...and bad days.
"Yes...yes I have. Jin-young...your daughter woke up early so she could say goodbye to us and go study more...are you not proud?" Your father just hummed in response, you knew he was stressed about the company. But you think that there is nothing to worry about, the company your dad runs is a huge success, earning a pretty good income. Making your family, one of the richest in Korea.
At school, you tend to hide your background, not wanting un-needed attention from people you don't even know. The only people who know of it are your two best friends, of whom you like to call Dumb and Dumber.
"It's fine mom, I should be on my way anyway if I want to catch my bus." You quickly ate the rest of your food and grabbed your bag that was already waiting for you.
"Are you sure you don't want us to drive you? Sarah can even drive you!" Your mother always hated you taking the bus by yourself but like you said you want to keep your reputation at a good point. Sarah, is your mother's Secretary, or better known as your aunt.
Yet all the cars your family owns are high end and very expensive, if you wanted to keep low at school your family cars would not aide you with that wish.
"I'm fine mom! But thank you, have a good day at work." Both your parents had also wished you a good day at school and with that, you went out your door and passed your houses gates to walk towards the bus stop that would take you to your school.
Where then, you will enter a whole new world filled with idiots and self centered brats. You have never disliked school or never completed your homework in retaliation of the dumb school system. Your father's work depended on you...even though you wanted no part in it, you would never want to see your father disappointed because of you. You took school seriously, but also making sure you
have beautiful high school memories by having fun with your friends.
