"Sara," Kris said, his voice trailing off as he quickly shut his mouth. "Dammit, why did you say anything?": he mentally scolded himself as she turned around to look at him, "Yes?" He smiled weakly as he cleared his throat, "Do you want to go----find me a book?" Mentally slapping himself, Kris sighed silently as he thought, "A book? Seriously? Kris, you're such an idiot!"
She scrunched an eyebrow as she pointed to the report she was currently in the middle of finishing, "Can you please? I'm afraid if I stop writing this, I'll forget what I was going to write and never get this damned report done." He smiled and nodded as he stood and walked to the rows of bookshelves. As he examined each book lined up neatly next to another, he heard someone snigger behind him.
"A book? Why would you ask her to get you a book?" Luhan asked amusingly as he leaned against one of the shelves, a book resting in the palm of his hand. Kris sighed and rolled his eyes as he pulled out a book with a sapphire blue cover with the text written in a sort or pearly red, "Yes, a book. Why do you ask? You've asked Blondie dumber questions."
Luhan rolled his eyes, "Oh, like what?" Kris tucked the book in his hand as he turned to Luhan with a smirk, "Shall I bring up past memories?" Luhan smirked back also, "Go ahead." Drawing in a breath, Kris started to speak with a mocking tone of Luhan's, "Hey Blondie, can you check my head? I don't feel too good. Blondie, can you feed my dog? And then there's my favorite: Blondie, I really like yo----M----BLAQ."
Sighing, Luhan kicked off the bookshelf as he narrowed his eyes, "Just wait. You'll do something idiotic and embarrassing also eventually." Kris smirked as he started to speak, "Like what?" As he leaned against the bookshelf with one hand as he put all of his body weight against the shelf, there was a sort of cracking sound that emitted through the air.
With his eyes turning wide, Kris attempted to straighten up, but it was too late. The bookshelf crashed to the floor with a loud 'thud.' Slowly, Kris removed his eyes from the chaos in front of him as he looked up to see an angry librarian glaring at him with her hands on her hips, a laughing Luhan, and then to the far corner of the room, Sara, who was just staring at what had happened with her mouth hanging open.
Feeling his cheeks start turning red, Kris quickly hid his face as Luhan passed by him, "Told you that you would do something idiotic eventually." Sighing, Kris looked up at the librarian who started to speak, "Young man, go to th-" but Kris nodded, "Principal's office. I know, I'm sorry." He trudged away to the office as the librarian grumbled curse words loudly while picking up the scattered books that laid in every corner.
"Ah, Kris. I was actually just coming to see you and the rest of the guys. There's---something important I need to tell you all," the principal, or as everyone now called him in secret, the 'Lieutenant,' since that was the name they had always known him by, said with a vague tone. Kris nodded and folded his arms, "I will, but is everything okay, sir?"
Sighing as he nervously chewed his thumb nail, the Lieutenant shook his head, "I'm afraid that we're going to have some more trouble keeping the girls safe."
