Chapter 1 Uncontrollable Magic

"Kristen! Get up! Get dressed! I told your friends that they can come over today!" My mum shouted, as I sat up trying to wake up for the day.

I get up, change my clothes and go down stairs to look in the fridge to see what I can eat for breakfast. There was leftover pizza and fried chicken. I decided just to have a quick bowl of cereal. I tried to eat my breakfast as quickly as I can, because i know my friends will arrive shortly.

Just as soon as I finished my breakfast I heard a knock on the door. My mum got up to answer it. "Come on in," I heard my mum say as she opened the door. All four of my best friends came running to me. Cassandra, Aaron, Marissa and Johnny. They all had messy black hair, wore black clothes and wore dark eye liner, including me and even the boys.

"What are we going to do today?" Cassandra asked. "Let's go to the mall!" Johnny shouted as his face beamed with excitement. I thought for a minute before making my decision. "Ok fine, we can go to the mall, but if we run into Josh and his gang we are making a run for it!" "WHY DON'T WE SHOW THEM WHAT WE'RE MADE OF!" Arron shouted, as he raged with anger. "NOT EVERYTHING REVOLVES AROUND VIOLENCE, ARRON!" Marissa shouted in his response. "Guys Marissa is right we shouldn't be fighting at all, we're eleven we're just kids." I replied to everyone.

My mum drives us to the mall. We get out of the car and walk towards the doors of the mall. "So where do you guys want to go first?" "I WANT TO GO TO HOT TOPIC!" Johnny shouts loud enough for the whole mall to hear. "Johnny shut it! Do you want us to get kicked out of the mall, before we even go to Hot Topic?" Marissa asked in her clearly annoyed voice. "All in favor, please say I. Everyone said I and there were no objections.

We all get to Hot Topic. Johnny and I go to the section where they sold Harry Potter merch. "You guys are such nerds for liking Harry Potter, I mean it's so lame and childish." Aaron said as he was teasing us "Haha, says the guy who is obsessed with D&D Johnny teased with a comeback. "Oh now your gonna get it! HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT D&D!" "Aaron now is not the time to fight!" Marissa said as she was holding Aaron back from bashing Johnny's head in.

Johnny and I kept looking at the Harry Potter stuff. Johnny got a time turner necklace from the Harry Potter movies and I got a Harry Potter cup.

We went to go to the t-shirts to see what Aaron was up to he was holding up a White Chapel t-shirt. "Johnny if you give me your opinion on this t-shirt I will forgive you. Fine it looks awesome.

Johnny and I start looking at the t-shirts. He gets a Harry Potter t-shirt that has a quote on it that says "After all this time. Always" and I get a shirt with the Hogwarts logo on it. After staying in the store listening to music and looking around we finally proceed to check out and paid for our items.

The next store we went to was FYE  (For Your Entertainment). We all went to look at the CDs first, just like we always do. Every time we go to FYE. We always look at the metal/rock section of the store.

We were all showing each other CDs of our favorite bands and giving each other recommendations of the band's that we like since we all like the same music anyways.

We each pick a CD that we liked. Johnny got an All Time Low CD, Cassandra got a Pierce The Veil CD, Aaron got a Cannibal Corpse CD, Marissa got an Asking Alexandria  CD and I got an Avenged Sevenfold CD.

We were getting out of the store after we paid for our stuff. We were about to go to the movies to see what was playing, just when we were walking we noticed a very familiar face.

All five of us stood there for a second shocked. Marissa shouted from behind me, "it's Josh and his gang we have to make run for it." We all bolted running as fast as we can, Josh and his gang not far behind us. We run out of the mall and pass all these shops, we run to the public park and hide under the pavilion. We were all gasping and out of breath from the run. "I will be right back you guys I am going to go get us Doritos and Monster Energy Drinks from the vendor machines."

It takes what it seems a long walk from the pavilion to the bathrooms where the vending machines are. I get five original Monster Energy Drinks and five Nacho Cheese Doritos. It took a while to get one thing at a time, I was hoping Josh and his gang didn't find my friends yet, I was beginning to worry. Now that I think of it I know there fine Aaron will protect them especially when he gets angry.

I make my way back to the pavilion, when I see Josh and his gang I start running quicker. Josh and his hand are already tormenting my friends.

Brittany is trying to drown Cassandra in a bird bath, Stacie is throwing punches at Marissa, Tony just kicked Johnny in the nuts, Josh had a knife slashing deep cuts in Aarons arm, yelling awful and mean things to him like, "YOU CALL YOURSELF EMO DO YOU CUT YOURSELF? I DON'T WANT YOU TO GO THOUGH THAT TROUBLE I CAN DO IT FOR YOU!"

I start feeling rage in my body I start screaming extremely loud. Everyone stops what there doing to look at me, just then I raise my hands in the air, every rock that was on the ground is levitating in mid air. I put my arms out in front of me all the rocks go flying at only Josh and his gang
