Sami's POV.
Turns out the boys are moving into our room, and the worst part is, there is only one bed. It's pretty big though, we will all definitely fit. But it's a little awkward , I mean, two boys sleeping with us?
Nikki has been on edge, seeing if one of them will make a move. The Order must be toying with us, I'm sure there is a room that they could stay in. I can't fight against their decisions though, I would be punished.
It's about time for dinner so we all head out to the dining hall. I guess you would be thinking that they just bring our food to our rooms but no, we have to eat together, for some odd reason. The Order doesn't usually eat with us, but today he wants to meet our new partners.
The main scientist's name is clearly not "The Order or Mr. Order, but we don't know his name. There is nothing else to call him by but the name of the facility we were created in.
I've only seen him twice, when we first came here and when we were the only ones that worked with the experiments they put us through.
We all stopped at the big doors, turning to look at each other. "Evan, James, this is important so listen up," I said, standing up tall. They looked at me with confusion, waiting for me to go on.
I took a deep breath, and continued, "The Order is in there, so watch yourself around him. He controls everything; he could kill you in seconds if he wanted to." James' eyes widened, the badass, I-can-handle-anything expression disappeared completely and suddenly. Evan remained calm, showing no emotion.
I licked my lips, feeling the cut from yesterday trail blood into my mouth. I spit it out. James face smoothed over, showing nothing like Evan. They are really identical; I coughed, trying to cover my giggle. "All I'm trying to say is be careful." I sighed and turned around. I looked at Nikki, she was looking at James.
I slipped into her mind, letting my thoughts flow into her. 'Get it together, you need to focus.' her eyes widened, she turned to me, her face slightly red. 'Sorry, just worried about them,' her words filled my mind, understanding what she was feeling.
I shook my head, letting her know I felt the same. The boys looked at us, confused at what we were doing; I shrugged and opened the big doors. I stepped into a large room with a table in the middle of it. A man was already sitting there, reading papers. I looked around the room, it was mostly plain, like always. The floors look clean and shiny, making the big light above the table reflect off of them, lighting up the entire room.
It looked peaceful, but I knew better, this place was hell. The man at the table looked up, his evil face smiled, making us all shiver in fear and disgust. I glared at him, the large scar on his cheek moved with his grin. He even looked like a pure killer, it was disgusting.
"Hello experiments, please, take a seat." His deep voice rang through the whole room, cutting the silence. I narrowed my eyes at him, feeling the need to rip out his throat.
I have to keep it cool though, I don't want any of us in danger. I slid on a fake smile and fell into one of the seats. Nikki followed after me, then James and Evan. I glanced over at them, their expressions didn't change. I could feel Nikki's discomfort; I took her hand in mine and squeezed it. I felt her relax. I turned to the Order and put on my best poker face, "Hello Mr. Order, how are you?" Over the years I've learned to create conversation with him, he likes it and it keeps us safe.
'What are you doing?' I whipped my head to where the boys were sitting, it was one of them. James wasn't looking at me, but Evan was. How can he do that? I shook my head and turned back to the Order.
He grinned at me, "I'm fabulous Samantha, you know, the battle is coming up." He glanced at the boys, his grin formed into a smirk. "I know, sir. We are prepared for it."
