Song Of The Chapter: Aao Milo Chalein, Jab We Met
---------------------------//-----------------------------
"ISHU, YOU ABSOLUTE TRAITOR!"

Rudra yelled, walking into the office, giving zero importance to any "official" work that may be happening.

Fab5 and Navya widened their eyes, what happened, wasn't Rudra just laughing with Nandini?

Malik, Raichand and Shivaay on the other hand, were just shaking their heads, palm on their foreheads. They were used to this.

"What the hell Rudy? Why are you shouting?"

Nandini yelled back, this time, her words dripping with a slight British accent, Manik noticed, his eyes narrowing.

"Whenever Murthy is irritated, her British slips out. But when she's reeeeeally angry, she goes full Punjabi, ekdum desi. It's how we tell her mood swings apart."

Raichand mentions casually, noticing Manik's change in expression, who nodded hearing him.

"And South Indian?"

Dhruv asks shyly, initiating conversation for the first time.

"Baaki times, when she's all sweet, innocent, swami type ka, her lovely South Indian descent speaks for her. Appa was also like this only na, soft spoken and trusting."

Malik speaks out, shocking others with the softness in his voice. This was the first time in the entire day where he didn't sound arrogant, sarcastic, teasing or boastful.

Manik noticed that both Raichand and Malik were extremely find of Nandini's parents, calling them amma-appa themselves. They were a part of her life, her life with her family, one that Manik never got to see. And for this, his heart broke.

"Ishu I never thought TU aisa karegi. Matlab main hi mila tha? What did I do to deserve this, little sister? Ye dard, ye na-insaafi, ye dhoka!"

Rudra exclaimed, his dramatic expressions rising by the second.

God, he watched a lot of Indian TV shows.

"Can you cut the crap, Rudy! Bataayega hua kya hai?"

Shivaay yelled in between, scaring Fab5 and Navya with his intimidating tone.
