*Connors POV*

We were at a familiar restaurant, it was my favourite.

"Bethany, close your eyes." I instructed.

"Why Con?" She asked.

"It's a surprise." She covered her eyes and I rushed out of the car.

With her eyes still closed, I helped her out of the car and entered the restaurant.

Bethany was amazed yet again.

"No way!" She exclaimed and hugged me.

"Remember this place?" I released her and held her hand.

"Our first date, you brought me to this restaurant and... I loved it."

"Thought of our first date when I drove past here yesterday."

"Aww Con!" We walked towards the registerstion and sat on our table.

Me and Beth had the table next to the balcony.

"This is making me emotional." Beth whispered.

"Aww no, don't cry, please, you're making me feel guilty."

"For what, making me so happy that I cry."

"Yeah that thing."

Beth wiped her tears and fixed her makeup, she didn't need to wear makeup but she did.

"Good evening Connor and Bethany, what would you like?" The waiter walked over with a notepad.

"I would like a....(use ur imagination) please." I replied

"Me too." Beth smiled at me.

"Okay, your food shall be here soon." He walked off and Beth stood up to take a picture of the view outside.

"Bethany, can we take a picture together, one picture." I felt stupid saying that.

"Of course, Connor."

"Okay but I want it to be something like this." I placed my phone on a chair and set the timer.

My lips pressed against hers and the picture was taken. I wanted to release but I couldn't, I loved her too much.

She grabbed my back and I rested her body on my arm.

Slowly, I pulled back and realised, we were in public so we couldn't like have a make out session.

Grabbing my phone, I smiled, it was a beautiuful picture.

*Bethanys POV*

We left the restaurant and Connor was careful about how he got in the car, last time was just too much.

We were in the car, safe.

"Connor, that was really nice of you."

"Well Bethany, you deserve it. You work your butt off everyday and still have enough energy to make everyone smile. You're beautiful and an inspiration to me Bethany. I honestly look up to you, how you're always happy and you don't care about the haters. Being known as your boyfriend makes me happy. I love the fact that you don't care about your "insecurities", like you even have any. When I was depressed, you helped me out, may have not seemed like it but your smile made everyday better." Connor gazed into my eyes. I was in tears, this is really touching.

"Bethany Mota, I'm happy to know you're my girlfriend."

He leaned in for a kiss and so did I, it was a 10 second kiss and I loved it.

"You really should've said that in the restaurant." I wiped my tears with a makeup wipe in my bag."

"At least I said it before the day ended." I looked at the time, it was 12am.
