Daylight began to fade away as wind blew about, causing leaves to rustle in the treetops. The scent of rain swept across the land warning all that a storm approached. Birds all took off to nearby trees to take cover, squirrels and rabbits scurried to their homes with their families following close behind. The land around was quiet and still as dark, heavy clouds rolled in above. Flashes of white lit up the clouds and a low rumble was heard from above as it crept its way forward.

Not far from the storm sat a young male, he lay rested upon a tree with his eyes closed. His white hair stood out against the brown, mossy colored wood behind him. He wore all dark colors as if he was night himself, his shirt poked out between his sweater, revealing the dark black of it. His jacket was a little lighter, almost a dark grey, yet had small white designs littering across it. An animal of some kind each seeming to run towards his back, which was hidden from view. His pants were just a simple pair of black jeans, ripped in a few places all over with a total of four holes in all. Upon his feet were a pair of black boots that reach up to below his knee cap, a few fastened buckles that held it tightly upon his feet.

From afar he looked like a normal male, yet once you get a closer look you see he isn't quite human. Small fangs protruded from his top lip, glimmering slightly in the light, as he slowly breathed out a sigh. His eyes stayed closed as he smiled slightly, giving a better view of his fangs.
His skin was almost as white as his hair. You would almost believe he was dead, was it not for his rising and falling chest, giving him the effect that he might be asleep. Upon his head sat small black horns almost entirely hidden by his mess of white hair. They were no more than 2 inches long, still seeming quite small in his wild mess of hair.

The smell of rain wafted around him as the storm rolled in above. Upon the beginning of the storm, his white lashes fluttered open revealing his duel colored eyes. His right eye was a deep blue with a lighter blue in the outer ring, one could compare it to the sky as it just starts to darken, somewhere between the dark of night and of the light sky blue. His left eye though was a deep red color, not the color of blood, darker than that, an almost garnet color that faded to a darker red on the outer ring. His eye shone brightly from the contrast of his pale skin tone.

The wind picked up slightly and thunder could be heard from a ways off. A small smile graced his lips as he took a deep breath, inhaling the sweet, fresh smell of rain. From those smiling lips, came forth a song, low and deep did his voice go, a velvety feel to it as he sang quietly to the storm as it drew closer.

"There once was a boy
He was like snow
A fragile boy
Whom put on quite the show.

He made magic
Fire,water,grass
But he always hid
Behind a mask

Behind the mask
Is where he did stay
Always on
From night to day

This boy, this boy
Had much to hide
Behind the mask
Is where he may die

This boy, this boy
So small and prowess
He would never be expected less

Disapprobation
Is what many thought
Death of him
Was always sought

This boy found a way
Way to live
Another life
Is what he would need to give

Sacrifice was made
Of a deer
Right after
Is when the demon appeared

He made a deal with the demon
Since then
No one has seen him
again

This boy, this boy..."

The male stopped his song as a snap of a twig was heard not far off from where he lay. He became filled with curiosity as to whom would be stupid enough to travel as a storm approached. Staying as still as possible he listened for other sounds or indications that someone may be nearby.

Not long after another small snap was heard. The male slowly made his way to his feet. By doing so revealed what was hidden before by laying against the tree, upon his back as a pair of dark, fluffy wings that blend in quite well with his sweater, but still stood a tone darker than it. It now also shows that all the creatures on his sweater were running to look up at the moon on the back of his sweater. The last thing that was unable to be seen was a tail attached to his lower back. It looked between a mixture of a deer with its fluff and somewhat short, but also a dragon almost with its shape, the way it sways, and it is slightly longer than that of a deer.

His wings twitched and tail flicked with anticipation. After a few moments the male made his way over to where the noise came from. Slowly, he made his way into a more dense part of trees. Few moments later he came across a small opening in the trees.

The wind was beginning to pick up even more around him as the storm proceeded forward, not stopping for anything. Small drops of water fell from above landing upon the males head, causing him to take a quick glance toward the sky before trying to look where the sound was from. The male shook his head slightly to rid the water that landed on him. Out in the opening he heard a small sound and looked to see what might be there.

Out in the midst of the opening sat a young boy, tears in his green eyes as he looked towards the storm with a frightened expression upon his face. His black hair stood up everywhere and his clothes were full of mud and tears. Small freckles littered the young boys face, almost unnoticeable under all the dirt.

The rain began to grow heavier by the second, beginning to drench the boy. The sky started to darken and thunder could be heard closer than before. The male in the trees felt bad for the other as the water drenched him, more so than himself. Having enough he slowly walked out towards the boy.

The boy's head jerked up as the male like creature came out of the trees. The black haired child jumped up slightly, being startled and slipped on some mud below him. Landing on his behind with a thud, he cowered away from the male like creatures she approached. His arms covered his face as he shook from the cold and fear.

"P-please don't h-hurt me" he pleaded in a soft voice

The male knelt down in front of him and placed his jacket around the boys shoulders.

"I won't hurt you" he said in a gentle, calming voice. "Come with me to find shelter from the storm, you must be freezing"

The boy looked at him a bit frightened, a shiver shook his body as he was helped up by the mysterious person. The boy looked at him as thunder rolled on in the background. "W-what is your name...sir?" the creature gave him a gentle smile and began to speak. A loud crash sounded above muting the male as he spoke his name.

Once the noise subsided the male like creature helped the boy up and spoke once again "now lets find some shelter." he said and turned from the boy as it began to pour. The male began to walk and the boy stayed there not sure whether to trust him or not. Another crash of thunder convinced him to go forward and follow the male to some shelter
