in the next part of his adventure, kevin goes on a journey through the hoenn region and meets new pokemon, battles new characters and much more. this is the third book in the series, i would suggest reading the other books:

Aaron and Gwen stand on opposite sides of the battlefield that we made, the rain finally stopped making the terrain muddy. "Its a 2 v 2, come on out Machoke!" yells Aaron, "machoke?" i say scanning it:

Machoke The Superpower Pokemon
Machoke's thoroughly toned muscles possess the hardness of steel. This Pokemon has so much strength, it can easily hold aloft a sumo wrestler on just one finger.
"in that case we'll start with Beautifly!" yells Gwen sending out her pokemon. "Machoke use Karate Chop!" yells Aaron. Machoke jumps as high as Beautifly and attacks. "dodge it quick!" Gwen yells. beautifly flies underneath the attack and then goes behind machoke. "now use wing attack!" yells Gwen. "use counter!" yells Aaron. wing attack connected doing a ton of damage to machoke, but machoke is still conscious, "now machoke finish it with your counter!" yells Aaron. machoke then knee's beautifly in the stomach as they fall to the ground and slams her into the ground as well. machoke jumps off of Beautifly who held on to consciousness. "now use Gust!" yells Gwen. the blast of wind hits machoke knocking it unconscious.
"impressive... your Beautifly is quite powerful, but your winning streak is over Queen of Darkness! go Blaziken!" Aaron throws out a pokeball, and the pokemon inside bursts out, "wait, thats the pokemon i saw when me and Aaron first met." i whisper, i pull out Dexter and scan the pokemon:

Blaziken The Blaze Pokemon
In battle, Blaziken blows out intense flames from its wrists and attacks foes courageously. The stronger the foe, the more intensely this Pokemon's wrists burn.
"alright, Beautifly use gust!" yells Gwen "use Extreme speed" yells Aaron. the gust attack missed and Blaziken appears behind beautifly and smacks her into the ground. beautifly is unable to battle. "return beautifly, you did great." Gwen says returning her pokemon. "come on out Absol!" Gwen yells throwing out her pokeball. Absol appears outside the ball. "absol, use night slash!" Gwen yells. "dodge it and use blaze kick!" yells Aaron. Absol gets close to Blaziken who jumps over the night slash and its leg sets on fire and stomps absol into the ground. "Absol!" yells Gwen.
"Absol!" yells the pokemon jumping out of the smoke. Absol was badly burned. "dang it... quick use Aerial Ace!" yells Gwen. "Ab! Sol!" yells absol appearing behind Blaziken who was just hit by an attack too quick for the human eye to see. blaziken falls over, still conscious though, "blaziken! use low kick!" yells Aaron, blaziken then kicks Absol into the air from beneath it. "finish it with a cross chop!" Aaron Commands. Blaziken jumps with high speed and appears in front of absol, and chops Absol, back to the ground.
