Side Effects

I don't know why I picked ouran high theme song for this chapter. I was just sitting and it came to mind. Also I'm so sorry for not updating in forever. I hadn't had an idea for this story and I feel so bad for it. Thanks for reading and please enjoy this chapter.

Wendy, thankfully, was in the guild when all the parents came rushing in with their children. She was sitting with Romeo talking to him and Carla (I know that's not how you spell it but that's how I spell it).

Wendy checked all the kids to see what was wrong with them. She also did the best she could to help with the pain.

   "Are they OK? Do you know what's going on with them?" Natsu asked.

"I'm not entirely sure, but I think it's just a side effect from time traveling. Going to a different time must be difficult on the body. I put a spell on them to make them sleep so the pain will be easier." Wendy said.

"How long is the pain going to last?" Levy asked.

"I think it should die down soon, but I don't know exactly when." Wendy frowned.

"Thank you Wendy." Mira hugged her.

"You did good." Gajeel said.

Nashi P.O.V.

"Ow." I muttered rubbing my head. I had just woken up and the pain had gone down a lot but it still hurt.

   I sat up from my, or the guilds, bed and attempted to stand. I managed to get halfway up before my head started hurting again and I got dizzy and lost my balance causing me to fall back on my bed. "Ow." I muttered again.

"Nashi?" I heard Igneel ask.

"Yeah." I called letting him know it was me.

"What happened?" Igneel groaned.

"I don't know. I just remember getting this huge headache then all black." I shook my head.

"Me too." Igneel sighed.

"Where's Luke?" I asked panicked.

   "I don't know, but I wouldn't worry about it. He was with mom and dad before our headache so he's probably with them." Igneel said.

   "Oh, found him." I said. He was on the floor next to a messy bed. I'm assuming he feel out of it at some point during his sleep. I walked over to him and laid him back into his bed and under the blanket. Luke immediately snuggled closer to his blanket.

   I saw storm sleeping on the bed that was next to mine. I guess everyone had the headache. I sat next to Storm and played with his hair. He wrapped his arms around me and held me. I figured it probably wasn't the most comfortable position so I lied next to him (after checking if my brother was watching because he would have a cow if he was). My face was buried in his chest.

He was cold, but the usual cold for him. I could rule out a virus or something like that because if it were, then his body temperature would have dropped considerably. His body would freeze out whatever was making him sick. It's the same with me, Ig and Luke except we burn them out.

I also knew he was awake. When I laid next to him I could here is breath hitch for a second and speed up a bit as his heart suddenly beat faster. I couldn't help but smile at the fact that I can still make his heart beat fast.

"I love you." He whispered.

"I love you too." I smiled. "How's your head?"

"Much better. Did yours suddenly hurt too?" Storm asked.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure everyone who is from our time period went through what we did. I'm guessing it's some sort of side effect from time travel." I answered.

"Ow." I heard several groans and people getting up.

"Where are we?" Luke asked afraid.

"In the guilds infirmary. We're safe." I promised Luke as I got out of the bed.

"Why don't we go tell our parents we're alright? They're probably really worried about us." Nova suggested.

"Hey guys." We all greeted walking out of the guilds infirmary.

  "How do you guys feel? Are you all OK? Does anything hurt?" A lot of people asked.

   "We're all OK. It was just a side effect from the time traveling." Rosemary promised.

   "Will it continue or was it just this once?" Jellal asked.

   "It will probably happen at random until our bodies get used to being in another time." Metallicana said.

   "I don't remember ever getting headaches like that when we came to this time period." Wendy said.

   "You guys went through a gate which was easier on the body. They came here by spell which is harder on the body. Am I right?" Levy asked.

"For the most part. I doubt the spell alone would do this much damage. I'm pretty sure it was an added bonus Elizabeth created. Probably to get rid of those without much magic or power. She hates those who are weak. If we hadn't been wizards we wouldn't have lived." Gale explained.

   "She must be pretty bad." Juvia said.

   "She's ranked second as the most powerful, evil wizard. Right behind Zeref, but I think she's worse." I said.

   "Zeref was a special case. He had a curse placed on him which made him go crazy. Before he went completely insane he was able to bring back his brother from the dead, which is what he was trying to do before his curse. So he wasn't a bad person, he just went insane after watching all of the people he cares about die.

"Elizabeth on the other hand is... well I don't want to say sane but she's more sane than Zeref was. She's driven by power and knowledge. She kills those who she deems weak and stupid. Once she realized one lifetime won't allow her to have all the power and knowledge she desires, Elizabeth made herself immortal. She was even able to escape the curse of contradiction. She's an absolute monster." Igneel explained.

   "Once we almost fought her. She nearly killed us. We only survived because she believes we have potential to be stronger than we are now. She's curious to see how strong we can get." I said.

   "She's creepy." Storm summed up.

   "And scary." Sylvia added.

   "Sounds like a good opponent." Natsu grinned. "I wanna fight her."

   "Indeed. I too want a chance to fight her. Sounds intriguing." Erza nodded.

"You guys are funny." Ever laughed.

"I guess some things just don't change." Rin shrugged.
