I thought the day I died would be the end of me, but something kept me holding on, something kept me grounded on earth or someone did. Just like all fairy tales there's a beginning but this is no fairytale. I was no princess just a simple girl in high school, my kingdom was Malard High, a small school, in a small town, filled with a bunch of small minded people. Three more years and I would've been out of this hell hole, three more years and I could've been somebody, sometimes things don't work out the way we want them to, the God damn facts of life. Going into my freshman year I hated being new not knowing anyone, no one caring about who you are or why your there. I was alone and didn't mind it, I could comfy in my books, in my mind I was full of friends. My family didn't have much time for me either, mom always working, dad drinking loneliness was my middle name. I had plenty of time to be everywhere but I seemed to always be nowhere.

When school started it felt like time was just flying, everything was moving around me and I was sitting still. I wanted to do something, be someone. I considered writing but in a small town that'd be no use, i'd loose more money than I would ever gain.

By October I had given up, no one from home had even dared to contact me, and I hadn't met anyone new, life would probably be better if I wasn't in it, but then again no one really cared if I was or wasn't.

Then he came into my life and gave me a reason to care, he gave my life a meaning.
