I Am That Friend Who Knew All Along

A/N: Okay..... It's Josh's POV unless I say otherwise, okay? I'm getting tired of saying 'Josh's POV' every chapter. (that's really pathetic actually b/c there's only been like four chapters)

I AM SO SORRY THAT IM TAKING FOREVER TO UPDATE.

I walked into school Monday very nervous. I had spent the weekend hanging with Oli. What's he going to be like in school? Will he be open to our relationship? Or will he still play it off as if we're still best friends and nothing happened between us?

As I was heading to my first class, I was stopped by a friend that I hadn't talked to in forever.

"Oh hey, Austin... How's it going?"

"Pretty good, man... I was just wondering if you're okay," he glanced down at my arms that were hidden in a hoodie. "You weren't in school for half the week and I just wanted to know if you're okay. I mean, it feels like forever since I talked to you, so.....," He trailed off.

Austin was my best friend but then he started dating Alan and didn't talk to me that much. Austin knew that I self-harmed though. We were hanging out and I went to grab something and my sleeve lifted up. He's kept my secret though. Even after I became best friends with Oli. He's such a good friend.

"I'm doing okay now..." I replied. He nodded. He knew exactly what I meant by that. His boyfriend, Alan, was a lot like me so he understood.

"Well that's good that you're okay now..." He looked me in the eyes and put a hand on my shoulder, "I hope you stay okay." He gave me a quick, friendly, hug and walked away. I saw him go over to Alan and hug him. I saw him kiss Alan on the forehead. I saw Austin joking and Alan giggling.

Will Oli and be able to do that here? Will he be okay with everyone knowing? This is so stressful. This shouldn't even be stressful.

Oli knows I'm open about it because I had a previous boyfriend. It didn't last very long though, three weeks, maybe?

I walked into Mr. Way's class. He's my favorite teacher. He was really attractive. Is that weird for me to say? He has bright red hair and is sassy as fuck. He was also married to our other attractive male teacher in this school, Mr. Iero.

I was early so I worked on some lyrics I was previously working on. It was hard to pick up from where I left off because I need the right flow of words and the right emotions for the words.

I know I've said this all before,

But opposites attract,

They try to run away,

But end up running back.

I wrote down the words that popped into my mind. The bell rung while I was writing, breaking my chain of thought. Class started.
