Please Understand

It's an early morning in the Phantomhive Manor. The servants were hard at work in the kitchen organizing plates and trying not to burn the whole manor down. Sebastian was making the couple's morning tea, pondering about their schedule, knowing they did not have one. Eventually he gave up and left the morning tea on his bedside table.

Ciel opened his eyes slowly, then quickly to feel a light body against his.

"Elizabeth?!" He whispered shockingly to himself.

Quickly, he grabbed his eye patch and put it on over his eye, before she awoken.

Elizabeth woke not shortly after, only saying good morning and stretch out of her position.

"When did you come in here Elizabeth?" Ciel asked sitting up next to her.

"I had a bad dream, Sebastian suggested that I slept with you" She smiled "I believe it worked"

Ciel's only reaction was a blush and faint curse under his breath. Elizabeth giggled and put on one of her smiles.

After Ciel and Elizabeth had their tea and got dressed, Lizzy suggested the walk she waited to desperately to go on. Ciel agreed but told her to keep quiet so Sebastian wouldn't get curious and snoop.

You might think Elizabeth has always been head over heels for Ciel, but that wasn't always the case. Ciel has always treated her like a younger sister. Never letting her become injured or go out on her own. Sure Elizabeth loves Ciel, but she is becoming tired of his ways. She appreciates the protection but she is more than capable to handle herself on her own. Finally, she had the chance to tell him how she feels.

Right at noon, the pair quickly snuck out into the garden and began their walk.

"Ciel, I need to tell you something important" Elizabeth stated, walking

"Alright, what is it Lizzy?" Ciel replied, continuing to look forward, walking.

Elizabeth hesitated then said:

"I'm tired of being treated like a child. I'm almost 14, I can handle myself Ciel"

Ciel stopped in shock and turned to face her.

"Elizabeth. I'm not treating you like a child!"

"Yes you are" She replied, her voice wavering and rising. "You know I am capable of handling myself"

"I am aware of that. Why are you acting up all of a sudden?" He asked, grabbing her shoulders lightly

"Because" She broke away from his grip, her voice starting to crack "I-I don't want to be mis-treated anymore. I-I'm not a baby anymore!"

Ciel still had a shocked look across his face, but then it turned into a smirk.

"So you wish to be treated like a teenager rather than a child?"

She gave a small nod and crossed her arms.

"Alright" Before she could react Ciel had her up on a tree and his lips pressed against her's. Her face went completely red but eventually taught herself how to kiss back.

After awhile he pulled away.

"I respect your decision Lizzy" he said

"Thank you for understanding" she replied, smiling.

"Anything for you my dear"
