The First Day

"Come on Tadashi! It's time to go to college!" Aunt Cass shouted from downstairs. Hiro was already up and dressed, ready to go back to school. Tadashi, on the other hand, wasn't even up.

He laid there in his bed, in his boxers, groaning. "But I don't want to!" He complained. Normally he would've been up an hour ago, but he was more nervous that usual.

He waited another minute before he got up. His brown hues gazed over at the clock. It read: '7:30'. "Well, it doesn't start till nine..but I still have things to do before then."

He sighed and got up. Tadashi searched his closet for his clothes. He picked out tje usual: A white undershirt, a grey jacket, and black pants. After putting them on, he brushed his hair and teeth.

Rushing out of his bedroom, he grabbed his hat and put it on. He went down the stairs, to the kitchen. Hiro had already finished breakfast, and was playing on his pad.

Tadashi sat down, eating his breakfast quickly so he could have free time. It was already 7:45. Their schools were ten minutes apart, so they had to leave around 8:30. And they did.

Hiro was first, and he was very excited. A new year, higher levels of subjects. He loved the challenge, just like Tadashi did.

Then it was Tadashi's turn. He got out slowly, holding his bag over his shoulder. "Don't worry Tadashi. You'll be fine," assured Aunt Cass.

He nodded and headed off. 'It's only eight hours right? I should be fine, ' he thought to himself. Tadashi gained a bit of self-confidence, and walked into the building.

He had his locker already, and his books were in there already. So he went to it, and placed his backpack into the small storage, taking his books out.

Next to him was a smaller female, with black hair and purple streaks. She seemed to be the type to ignore everyone, but he was wrong.

On his other side, there was another female. Taller, skinnier, and had perfect complexions. Well, to him at least.

She looked down at him and smiled. "I haven't seen you before. I'm Aiko," she spoke. Her voice was soft, and he loved it.

"I-i um...I'm Tadashi. It's nice to meet you, Aiko." He blushed. 'Way to mess it up, you idiot!' He scolded himself. "U-uh...what's your first class?" He asked.

"Chemistry," she replied. "And you?" "O-oh! Um...Chemistry as well." He smiled warmly.

She was his first friend at the college. Tadashi had a great first day, when he realized she was in all his classes. When he got home, he was blushing, smiling, and happier than ever.

"I can't wait till tomorrow."
