It's Monday morning and you're lying in bed staring at the ceiling. you didn't get sleep last night because you were wondering about your best friend and your boyfriend and your friends that you left behind in California.you and your best friend Emily stay up talking about how much she and everyone missed you and how your boyfriend Caleb said he wished he had said goodbye to you instead of arguing about the fact that you were moving and how he was sorry for yelling at you.you hear a knock on your door such made you stop wondering about everything. You ask "who's there"then you here your dad say "it's your dad can I come in"and you reply with"sure and can I not to go my new school today" your dad opens up the door and said"no you have to go to school today but I can see it I can get off of work early and pick you up during lunch and then bring you back"then with a tiny smile you say sure thing dad, is breakfast ready"then your dad reply's " yes it's on the table now get dressed ( your name)" your dad heads down the stairs to the kitchen and you shut the door and you throw in a three days grade shirt and ripped black pants and you a flannel around your waist.you head down the stairs to the kitchen to eat your breakfast when you here your dad asking " if you would be alright to ride the school bus to school next week because he had meetings planed" and you said " yeah it'll be fine then you said I can't believe it's been a year since mom and on a happier note my birthday is in a couple of weeks" your dad said "yeah now hurry up your gonna be late to school".you get your bags together and your phone vibrated because Caleb starting texting you and he wished you a happy early birthday and said he might get to come to your new house in Ohio for your birthday.you get everything done and you hope in the car so your dad can take you to school.

" and you reply with " yes I am in do you know we're the cafeteria is." skylar said" he's I was just about to go in the school to go to the cafeteria if you want to join me" you felt butterflies in your stomach and you don't know why but they went away when you felt and heard your phone vibrate and ring you checked your phone Emily is calling you and you answer she tells you your boyfriend got arrested for mid sentence you drop the phone and start crying you here your name being called" (your name)you commin or what"you look up and see skylar standing in the door way of the school waving you to come on in the school because its starting soon.
