Chapter six - Blue & Gold.

When Jughead dissapered in the dark, I was really confused. He was really weird, but I wanted to know him more. When I was walking down the streets, I was thinking about how he can change in different situation and why he isn't like that with his friends. I felt like I won't be able to know answers to these questions. I didn't know when I arrived to my house. I was standing in front of "Copper's Villa", knowing that my wonderful evening will end as soon as I walked in to that home, but I did it anyway.
-Where have you been?! - My mom shouted as she came to the hall.
-I told you already that I was with friends at that Pop's bar - I said dryly and took of my boots and coat.
-Fine, go and make yourself a supper - she said while looking at me kinda disappointed.
My mom was a blonde woman, with dark green eyes. She always wears dresses and highheels. She was the one who wanted to be the most perfect in that family. My dad sometimes even find her crazy about that, but that doesn't happen so often. My dad is always at work since he works in Greendale. He is a tall, brown haired man, with ocean blue eyes. Always hardworking but "carrying" daddy.
I went to the kitchen and I decided to make some toast for myself. When I was almost done with making my meal, my sister came in.
-Why are you so late again? - she asked with smirk on her face.
-Why do you even care? - I responded.
-Ooooh, my little slutty sister was fucking around with her new nerdy friends, haha - she laughed at my friends. She did it.
I was so angry. I liked my new friends really much. They were my hope for new life. I didn't want to control myself. I wanted to Punish Polly. My eyes turned red, but she couldn't see it. Suddenly all knifes and food was flying over my head and I looked at her. She was looking like she was about to scream so I throw all of that things at her. She was defenitely hurt, because she yelled really loud. I was proud at myself.
-Do not talk about my friends like that ever again - I said as my mom walked in to the kitchen. My eyes turned immediately to its normal color. She ran towars me and she slapped my face really hard, a single tear was running down my face.
-WE DO NOT TOLARATE SUCH OF DISGUSTING THINGS AT THIS HOUSE. YOU ARE DISGUSTING. SAY SORRY TO YOUR SISTER AND GO TO YOUR ROOM, YOU WEIRD CHILD - mom yelled at me.
-s-sorry - I said and I walked to my room.
I hate my family. How could mother care more about reputation than her own kids, and also how parents can be so kind and supportive, just for one kid and so dry and violent for the other one. I wished that I could be somewhere else, somewhere when I can be myself.
I couldn't sleep that night. I was overthinking and crying 'till 4am but then I feel asleep, becasue how long you can just cry without being super tired.
I woke up at 7am, which is 15 mins longer than usually. I took a quick shower and I wore black jeans and light pink hoodie. I made a ponytail and I packed my bag. Today I decided to skip breakfast, because I didn't want to see my mother's, nor Polly's face this morning. I tried to think about Blue&Gold instead of yesterday's accident, but it was so hard.
I was almost near school when someone shouted my name. It was Veronica.
-Hey B! How are you, love? - she said really cheerfully.
-It could have been better - I said.
-Do you want to talk about this? - She looked at me with carrying eyes, that ones which my mother was only giving to Polly.
-I mean... I just had a rough night and that's all - I smiled.
-Fine. Anyway today is a cheerleader try out - She said as I cut her off.
-I know - I smiled to myself.
I remebered when I was stalking Cheryl to know her every move. I still remember some things.
-Well... are you coming? - She asked.
-I don't think so, cheerleading isn't really my thing - I replied.
-Come on! Give it a try! - She said.
-I don't want to, V - I said.
-Fine! There's more try outs later anyway, so you can go on another one. And of course you will, because I will convince you no matter what - She chuckled as Archie joined to us.
-Heeey, are you both free tonight? - He asked.
-I am - V said
-I am not - I smiled.
-What? - Veronica and Archie Said in the same time.
-I have Blue&Gold meeting today - I said as I walked to schooled.
-I can't belive Jughead actually let someone work with him - Archie chuckled but I just looked at him real quick.
-Well, but V is still free tonight, you can go with her - I said.
-Well... Veronica don't take it wrong... b-but I would prefer... to go with B-Betty too - he said nervously.
-It's whatever, you jerk - V said.
We went to our lockers. I grabbed all books I needed and I found a note in my locker.

Dear, Betty
the Blue&Gold meeting will be after  our lessons in Old library. Meet me on half past four pm. Don't be late.

J.J - Jughead Jones, I thought as I smiled to myself.
-Why are you smiling B? - Veronica smirked.
-I-I remembered a funny joke - I said and I packed my books and note to my bag.
-Of course - She smirked harder.
We headed to our first period. All lessons went boring as always. The only interesting thing was when Mr. Smith broke a glass on our chemistry lesson while showing us an experiment. At lunch I sat with all my friends and we laughed so hard. The only thing I felt uncomfortable with was that Kevin hasn't been at school. It was werid, but I thought that maybe he is just sick as V said. I had some much fun with Jughead, Arch and V. They made me forget about yesterday's accident or my family or even my powers. It was so amazing that they were making me happy. I even ignored Cheryl's glares which she was giving me sometimes. It was just amazing.
Then it comes, the time of Blue&Gold meeting. It was 4:22pm when I arrived to old library, Jughead was already sitting and writing something on his laptop.
-It took you so long - he said.
-what? It's not even half past 4pm - I told him quite irritated.
-Also nice note, but you know there's something like phones these days, right? - I chuckeld.
-Yeah... but I prefer that method. Are you going to work or do I need to do this all by myself - He smiled.
First time I see his true smile. He looked gorgeous with it, that I looked at him for a while.
-Hello? Earth to Betty - he chuckled.
-O-oh, sorry... yeah I'm going - I said while blushing.
We worked together untill 6:30 pm, it was so nice to work with him. He was intelligent, and funny guy. We went out from school.
-It was a pleasure to work with you, Ms. Cooper - He smiled
-Yeah, it was pleasure to work with you too, Forthsyte Pendleton Jones the third - I said as he blushed.
-How do you - He said as I cut him off.
-Archie told me. - I smiled.
We were just staring at each other for a moment.
-Okay so I guess, I see you tomorrow. - I said.
-See you - he smiled and walked away.
I went to the bus stop. I had 8 minutes before my bus would arrive. Normally I wouldn't use bus, but I was tired, but suddenly someone poked me at my arm and said "excuse me". I turned around and I saw a short girl with colorful hair giving me a glare.
-Stay away from Jughead. Stop flirting with him, He wouldn't love you, because you're just a northside princess. - She said angrily.
-Im not flirting with him, he's my friend and I'm working with him at newspaper - I explained.
She looked at me up and down.
-Stay away. - she said as she turned around and went on the opposite way.
-No - I whispered to myself.
