Little patch of sand
A tumbleweed in wind
Growing on a hill
Sat the humble Saguaro
Weathering the hot
And braving what's not
Clinging to the ground
Sat the sturdy Saguaro
Flowers may pop
And seeds may drop
But still crowning the hill
Sat the patient Saguaro
Waiting his turn
Amidst desert burn
Towering the hill
Flowered the joyous Saguaro
