Law pov:

   It has been a few days since my crew and me anchored in this kokiya village. I heard that it's famous for it's human trafficking business and since we just found a good amount of treasure, I decided to participate in upcoming auction to see if there are any interesting people that I can buy. It would be interesting.

   The auction will be held tomorrow so the rest of the crew and I are killing time by having fun at the bars. After a while I decided to go out of the bar to have some fresh air. The bar is getting too stuffy and annoying with the hostess practically throwing themselves at me. As I walk down the streets, I noticed that there are not much people on the streets even though it's only 10pm plus. They must be afraid of being caught and sold I thought to myself. I got bored eventually and made my way up to a roof lying on it while gazing at the night sky well that is the only 'interesting' thing i can do now.

   Just as I was about to fall asleep I hear some shuffling and some screaming coming from below. Being a pirate I am already used to all the violence so I didn't bother too much about it . I decided to just observed the man trying to hold the young woman and the young woman struggling below me with an uninterested face. Oh so that is where the human traffickers find their goods or should i say human slave to sell. Eventually, the man got irritated with the young woman's attempts to be freed and started to beat her up. Not caring if she is already unconscious, he continued to beat up the young woman.

   Just as the man was about to slap the unconscious young woman, what surprised me was that a small sized girl which seemed to be around 11 to 13 years old jumped out suddenly stopping the man from slapping the unconscious woman. This piped up my interest and I continued to watch them while thinking What is she doing? Is she that dumb? She knows that there is no way she can win this man right? They are human traffickers they are heartless and they won't go easy on you just because you are a little girl. But still, I wonder what will she do next and I hope that she won't end up crying. It will be too annoying then.

   I heard her telling the man that she is saving the girl from him and she even called him a bastard. Heh.. She is a feisty one. The man just laughed and he even mocked her saying that she can do nothing other than scream for her daddy and mummy to help. After hearing that, she paused for a while and she zoned out for a bit. Not long after that what I noticed from her amazed me. I saw a small smirk appeared on her face which she immediately replaced with a emotionless face. What made her smirk in this kind of situation? I don't think any normal human will be able to doing that. I became even more interested in this girl as I felt that she is no normal girl.

   What she said afterwards made her gain my fullest attention and interest on her. She told the man that she will take the place of the young woman which meant that she will be the one getting sold while the young woman will be set free. She also mentioned that she does not have any parents. The man eyed her for a while, eventually agreeing to it and went to make a call to his friends.

   As he turned to make the call and is not paying attention to her, the girl did something unexpected. She healed the unconscious young woman with a type of purple glow from her hand and at the same time I also noticed that she have a pained expression on her face which made me really curious about her. This girl... interesting she can heal people... Did she ate a devil fruit? Great then ,she will make a fine addition to my crew. I guess the auction won't be a boring one.
