I think I'm cutting down all these author's note to just either at the start or at the end per chapter. Maybe mainly at the start since there will still be the disclaimers, but I'll let time tell. Anyways, new story and new chapter for it so onto the read!
... Why are you reading this? The disclaimer is down there!
I do not, in any way, own League of Legends or any resources that might make an appearance here. If I did, I would've made it into an open-world game.
But hey, that's not a bad idea for a spin-off game :P

- Navori plains, Lieutenant Serezha's POV -
It has been several years of independence from the empire that flew by like the winds. I remember the day when we stormed the stronghold and detached ourselves like it was yesterday. I remember sacking the supply depots that helped push back the invasion of Ionia in the long run; the times when we took up arms against our own people to help strangers in this lands, yet we are still despised because of our origins. However, we chose this life because we wouldn't be as strong as we are now if we never faced challenges. That I admire from our General.
My name is Serezha, once a marine for the Noxian Empire, now a lieutenant of the Accord of the Forsaken under the leadership of General (Letholdus). Currently a warmaster, responsible for the discipline and training of our proud marines.
Today is a fine day. Old traditions of the art of battle still run deep in our veins. And so we ventured far outside of our fortress out to the plains of Navori set up a makeshift camp for another day of trainings and drills. I personally suggested this location specifically so that we would be able to relive battle traditions. We are still Noxians by blood.
Right now, I am overseeing a duel between two newly recruited marines using blunt polearms so to avoid injuries. Both warriors fought fiercely and the duel doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon as none of them are willing to yield. Eventually, one of them prevailed and the duel ended with the other on the ground.
Serezha: "That's enough for the both of you." I tell them and they saluted back as a response before returning to their seats. I look at the piece of paper of all the duelists in line. "The next two marines, enter the arena." I announce as two marines entered the arena and started their duel after given the go by another overseer.
???: "Quite a fierce fight that is the previous one, I must say." Someone says beside me.
Serezha: "Yes, it was." I reply to the man but I pause to look at him. It's to my surprise to see General (Letholdus) himself. I immediately fix myself and saluted to my commanding officer. "General (Letholdus)! My apologies for my disrespectful response to you." I say to him, hoping that I wasn't in trouble.
General (Letholdus): "Do not worry, Lieutenant. I did not take any offense. I am simply here to see how things are working out here." He assures me to my relief.
Serezha: "Ah, I see. Our marines are still as strong as ever, General. None of them are willing to be the first to fall." I say to him.
General (Letholdus): "Excellent. That is what I like to hear. Say, is Davion here?" He asks.
Serezha: "Quartermaster Davion? Yes, sir. He should inspecting the tents at this time." I answer. "If I may ask, what for?"
General (Letholdus): "I want to make sure that the marines are doing well and at the best they can be, and to see what must be done to address any problems there may be." He answers.
