Amaya POV

As I banged my locker shut, I found a grinning Aiden leaning on the locker next to mine.

"Oh hi! I didn't expect to see you here," I said, shoving my books into my bag. Aiden and I rarely talked in school, and him actually coming to my locker was a first.

"Well I came here for a very, very important reason," he said in a serious voice.

"Why? Did something happen?" I furrowed my eyebrows in worry.

"I came here to show you this." He held his phone in front of me.

There on the screen was a close up photo of me stuffing my face with mozzarella sticks and sauce all over my mouth. It was probably one of the ugliest photos of me I'd ever seen.

"Delete that photo RIGHT NOW Aiden Smith!!!" I screamed in the hallway, running after him as he started walking ahead.

"No can do Amaya. Its a priceless photo. I wouldn't dare delete it." He said as I caught up to him. He was twirling the phone in his hand, teasing me.

"I swear I'm gonna kill you one day!" I was half jogging to catch up to him.

I suddenly stopped. "Wait. Where are we going?" I looked around in the hallway.

"To Physics Amaya. Do you seriously not know your schedule yet?" He started walking again.

Why was Aiden taking me to my next class?

How did he know my schedule?

Was he stalking me?

"How did you know that I had Physics now?" I questioned, eyeing him with suspicion.

"You've seriously never noticed before?" He had stopped now. He was looking at me with a mixture of disbelief and annoyance.

"What are you talking about?" I was blank.

Sighing, he started walking to the door to my class.

"I'm taking this class as well. I've been taking it since the beginning of the year."

He entered the class and sat down on a seat in the middle of the class.

Aiden was in this class? No way, I would have noticed. Seriously?

I looked around and went up to my seat. It was in the front row at the corner. I put my bag down and looked back. My eyes directly went to Aiden, who was taking out his books.

Had he always been there?

This was the one class in which I had never had any friends. Krystal and Nancy pretty much hated anything even remotely related to science and no one in my friend circle had ever been in this class.

But loved it. I loved the subject, the professor and everything about this class.

Did I really not notice Aiden till today?

Wow. I should have tried to make friends here.

I would have made an amazing friend much earlier.

I glanced back at Aiden's desk and observed him. He was absorbed in reading something. Just looking at him made me smile. With his--

Oh shoot.

He caught me staring at him.

I bent my head down, trying to make it look like I was reading. I slowly twisted my head to look at him from the corner of my eye. As soon as I did, I regretted it.
