I kept looking for Dobby everywhere, but I couldn't find him. Finally, I sighed then went back to my bedroom. I shut the door behind me and sighed. I was about to walk to my bed when I saw this woman already sitting on it. I stopped in my tracks.
"Ummm..." I began. "Who...who are you? And why are you in my bedroom?"
The woman smiled at me, her blue eyes looking at me. "Oh, well, I just wanted to tell you something."
I blinked. "Is there a reason that you have a hat on that's covering all of your hair?" I was occasionally like your stereotypical Gryffindor: impulsive and didn't think. Although this didn't always occur with actions; it would sometimes be words.
"Actually, yes. There is."
"And that reason is because...?"
"You haven't met me yet, and I don't want you to know who I am."
"I...I'm sorry. I 'haven't met you yet'?!"
"Why, yes. I'm from the future."

"Woah woah woah woah," I said with my hands up. "You're-you're from the future?"
"Well, I hope so. Is this 1992?"
"Um, yes."
"Oh. Good."
"Why? What time are you from?"
"2015."
"Two..." I stared at the woman. "Wow. That's-that's like...that's like..."
"Twenty-three years from now."
"Y-yeah... But what are you trying to tell me?"
"Are you looking for Dobby? Your house elf?"
"Um, I was..."
"Okay. Well, no matter what he tells you you have to go to Hogwarts this year."
"Um, why?"
"Because the people you meet will change your life. Forever."
"Like, uh...good change or bad change?"
The woman smiled. "The best. Now, I am sorry, but I must go. I have to go back home to my husband and daughter. Well, and time, too."
"Okay. Um, nice meeting you. I mean -"
The woman laughed slightly. "It's okay. You'll meet me eventually." The woman got her wand out, did a nonverbal spell, then disappeared.
This day was getting stranger by the minute.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~THE HOUSE-ELF RETURNS~~~~~~
I was in my room reading a book I was interested in, The Shining by that Muggle Stephen King, when somebody came into my room.
"Look, Draco," I said, not looking up from my book. "I know that this book was written by a Muggle, but it's a good book! And I think you'd like it, so please don't insult me for liking it. Or insult the book itself."
"I wasn't going to insult you," a squeaky voice said. I looked up. Next to my bed was Dobby.
I smiled. "Dobby!" I put in my bookmark, then stood up and walked to Dobby. I knelt down and hugged him. "Oh, Dobby! I've missed you! I needed a friend, but you weren't here!" I stopped hugging him, and I sat on my feet. "Where were you?"
"Um..." Dobby began. He jumped up on my bed. "Please don't be mad at Dobby." He sat down.
I stood up, then I walked to my bed and sat on it. "Dobby," I warned. "Where did you go?"
Dobby hesitated. "Harry Potter's house, ma'am."
I widened my eyes. I had a small little bitty, okay maybe not-so little, crush on Harry since last year. He was my age, in my House, and I got to know him. He's really nice, and I really liked him.
"Really?!" I asked Dobby, speaking quickly. "How is he? Did he mention me? What did you guys talk about? Oh, he probably didn't mention me, did he? Anyway, why were you there?"
"Um..." Dobby hesitated. "Harry Potter is fine, ma'am. No, Harry Potter did not mention Aura Malfoy. And Dobby...Dobby went over to Harry Potter's house to tell Harry not to go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry this year."
"What? Why?"
"Because dark magic is at work, ma'am."
"What? What do you know, Dobby?"
"Dobby can't say. Dobby's master would kill him if Master found out."
I sighed. My father was Dobby's master. A cruel man, my father. And that's a bit of an understatement.
"Okay. Don't tell me."
"But Aura, ma'am. Dobby doesn't think that Aura should go to Hogwarts either."
"Well, I'm sorry, Dobby, but I'm going. I hate my family, and the only way I can get away from them is by going to Hogwarts. I'm sorry."
Dobby sighed. "Dobby understands, ma'am."
I felt bad for making Dobby feel bad, but I wanted to meet these people that this woman was talking about.
