You and Bakugo had been friends for years, all throughout elementary school and everything. Sure, Deku was there, but he was like a 3rd wheel. And eventually Bakugo and you broke away from Deku and y'all went your separate ways.
It was the last year of being in school with Bakugo. Yes, it was graduation day. But, you could no longer graduate and be a hero, a few months back the league of villains captured you and took away your quirk. Bakugo saved you, but just not in time and that killed him. You two were close, and Bakugo wanted to be more than friends but didn't wanna make it awkward between the two of you. He loved training with you, you kept up with him and was never slow. He never seen you as competition because let's face it, no one is better than him.
So, UA had to give you a different certificate than everyone else. You felt out of place and you just wanted to cry. All the familiar faces you have trained with, and have become close to, seem so unfriendly when you're no longer on their level. You're now a nobody. You went from an amazing hero, who could keep up with the one and only Katsuki Bakugo, and Deku, to a weakling who got her power taken from the league of villains.
The ceremony came to a close, and all that was left was the hat tossing, but everyone had to sit through all the teachers saying their goodbyes, but everyone got reckless and started walking around.
You teared up, and then you felt a arm rest on top of your head. "Hey twerp- eh? H-hey why the hell are you crying?!" "Shut the fuck up bakugo!" You said as you wiped your tears. He sat down in the chair beside you. "Sorry...what's up?" "I feel so out of place Bakugo...I'm not supposed to be here anymore, I don't deserve this...I'm not going to be a hero I don't have a quirk anymore, I shouldn't be at this ceremony anymore..." "hey hey hey shut the hell up and let me talk you're rambling on again." He sighed. "You deserve to be here still. You kept up with me for the longest time for fuck sake. Even tho you don't have a quirk anymore you're still a fighting beast and you're amazing, just not as amazing as me." You laughed.
"Trust me y/n. You're going to be amazing in whatever you do. But remember, this isn't goodbye, we'll see each other again, we're best friends for crying out loud. If you've lasted this long with me, we can last being apart for a bit." Once he said that everyone shouted and hats flew everywhere, thus, signaling the end of the ceremony, and everyone has graduated.
Everyone stuck around for a bit saying goodbyes and everything. But after an hour people started leaving and eventually it was only Bakugo, you, and Kirishima. "Well y/n. It's time to say my goodbyes. Thank you for making me laugh all those times and make me smile. You're one of my closest friends and I'll never forget about you. I love you as a friend." Kirishima said as he hugged you. You hugged back. "Same to you kiri. I love too as a friend." Kiri backed up and then he hugged Bakugo and then he left, leaving you and Bakugo. You started to tear up. This will be the worst goodbye ever, you never thought a goodbye would hurt this bad, the truth is, you were just like Bakugo. You liked him but didn't want to ruin things. "Hey don't cry..." he said as he walked towards you and hugged you. You balled your eyes out. It's the last time you'll ever smell his caramel scent...
10 minutes went by and you finally stopped. "Hey y/n" "hm?"
"This isn't our goodbye...it just is until we meet again..."

3 years have passed, and you haven't seen Bakugo since the ceremony. You currently work at a bakery, and every day is fine. Until today...
A bomb hit the back of the shop, and before you got out you helped everyone else out, then a board blocked the entrance of the shop. you were trapped. You thought all hope was lost until you remembered Bakugo's words "you could keep up with me for so long I bet you're still strong!" So you climbed out, you heard a person yell out "the last survivor is coming out! Move aside!" And you came running out. You turned around to look at the building, and it collapsed right in front of you.
"Y/n!"
You stood frozen for a second. That voice, you knew that voice. You turned around, to see Bakugo running towards you, you see Deku, Denki, and Kirishima taking a villain to the cop car.
You ran to Bakugo and you guys met in the middle and you guys ran into each other's arms. "Y/n are you ok?? I missed you so much!!" You could tell he was about to cry. "I'm ok katsuki...I missed you more than you could ever imagine." You felt him relax a bit when you called his name and then you felt him start to cry, and that made you tear up. "Katsuki..." you pulled back a bit to look at him and he looked at you. "I love you..." you seen his cheeks light up and he smiled and then his lips were on yours.
When you two pulled back Kirishima yelled something about an otp and he knew it would happen or something, you two smiled.
"Y/n."
"Hm?"
"Will you be mine?"
"Of course Katsuki Bakugo..."
"I'll be your own personal hero..."
