Hermione;
While spending my summer with Bill in Germany I had the pleasure of becoming friends with a girl named Aquila Black, she was Malfoy's older sister but had been disowned due to her looks. Bill and I met her at an orphanage he was visiting for work and I begged Bill to ask them to take her home with us... which is how Bill Weasley ended up with an adopted thirteen year old daughter at the age of twenty one. The two of us spent the summer with Daphne and Cho, who had convinced their parents to let them come stay with Bill and I, causing trouble anyway we could. The four of us had even accidentally blown up the fountain in the German Ministry of Magic... that didn't blow over well with the Minister at all. Other than spending time with my friends, I keep finding myself writing letters to Adrian. I wish he were still here, and that he hadn't have drank that potion for Potter... I wish I'd drank it. Then He'd still be here, and I wouldn't have to constantly worry about Ron and his blasted friendship with Potter.As soon as she'd been adopted by Bill we had received a letter from Dumbledore stating that McGonagall would be catching a port key, alone with the sorting hat, so that Aquila could be sorted into her proper house before the start of term in September... We weren't surprised she was sorted into Slytherin, what surprised us was when McGonagall greeted her as Miss Weasley. Apparently when Bill signed the papers to take her home it had changed her name from Aquila Black to Aquila Weasley, making her the fourth Weasley sorted into Slytherin in the last ten years. Towards the end of summer Cho's parents called her home quickly and then the next we heard of her they'd shipped her off to the French school with her cousins due to a mysterious threat her Muggle Father had received... which means instead of being a badass quad at school this year- Aquila, Daphne, and I will be stuck as a trio- The Silver Trio, as Bill likes to call us. Tonight Aquila, Daphne, and I cram into my bed in Ginny and I's shared room while Ginny and Luna Lovegood cram into hers; The five of us excited for the start of term tomorrow.
Tomorrow morning will be the first year Charlie isn't here to see me off, because of an incident at work involving Cato, Charlie was responsible for getting Evandrus to Durmstrang. Tonight is also the first night I haven't slipped into one of my brothers beds the night before school, but that probably has something to do with the fact I'm wedged in between Daphne and Aquila. "Stop thinking so loudly!" Daphne snaps, tossing her arm over my middle and hugging me towards her person before falling asleep... you'd never expect a Greengrass to be a cuddler unless you lived with one. Aquila snorts at Daphne's actions before curling into the other side of me to steal our body heat and falling asleep. These two are the most bloody cuddly Slytherins I've ever met in my life. Finally giving into the heat I find myself slipping into unconsciousness, knowing good and well I'll wake up in a few hours screaming out Adrian's name. Three hours after dozing off I wake up a mess with Adrian's name on my lips, only to be pulled tighter into Daphne's body as she stroked my hair and whispered comforting words... this year wasn't going to be the same.
Waking up I find not only Daphne and Aquila crammed into my bed, but Ginny and Luna too. "Time to get up." I declare, shaking my friends and baby sister awake. As the five of us finish packing Ginny tells us about what Ron did just before we got back. "He stole the car; He asked the twins to help him, but they refused... so he stole it, and flew to get Harry." At the mention of his name Daphne and I almost snarl, because we remember. We remember the pain Potter caused us last year, and we aren't going to let that go anytime soon. I know the reason the twins refused to go get Potter, and that reasons name was Adrian Pucey. Despite not being as close to him as Daph and I, the twins loved him anyway, they respected his flare on the pitch and his nack for thinking on his feet- he was their third for pranks and they thought of him as a brother, and then for Ron to try and drag them to go pick up the reason their friend had died? Well, Ron had lost his mind.
Daphne, Aquila, and I head down for breakfast leaving Ginny and Luna to double check their trunks and talk before they got on the train. As Mum places plates down in front of the three of us Ron and Potter come stumbling into the kitchen both looking as if they'd hardly slept. Leaning over Daphne informs me that the twins had put itching powder in their sheets and I can't help but snort out laughter... I can't wait for them to try and do their homework this week, I'd charmed their parchment so that once they fill it... it'll return to a blank sheet and their work will be lost. Instead of taking Ginny shopping for new books, Charlie had mailed my younger sister and I all the things we would need for school this year because he'd found them in Romania for less than they sold them here, so we only had to go to Diagon Ally once after I'd arrived home to get Ginny a wand, and that'd only taken one try because her wand had nearly sprung out of its box to get to her. As the boys eat, Potter keeps stealing glances at Daphne and blushing... well, that fancy will get him nowhere.
