Your POV

There's a knock at your door, and with your emotions running high, you're extremely wary of who it could be.

It's most likely Hongjoong, but your heart still pounds even faster than normal. Your hands are clammy, and you quietly make your way to the door.

You look through the peephole to see Hongjoong.

You sigh in relief and open the door. He scrambles in and immediately hugs you in order to comfort you.

You lock the door in fear that your stalker will come in.

"I'm sorry I left you alone. I should have walked you home," Hongjoong murmurs.

"Seonghwa walked me home, thank goodness for that."

"I think it's about time we moved in together."

"Huh?"

You give Hongjoong a weird look.

"I've been thinking about this for awhile. I've wanted to move in with you for awhile now, and this is a perfect reason to do so."

"Oh," you blush, unsure how else to answer.

You become lost in your thoughts where you think about how this is the reason the two of you have to move in together. You wish it would have happened more naturally than this. You wish it didn't have to end up like this. You wish it didn't have to end up like this.

Hongjoong made himself at home. You've made it clear in the past that this is his home, and he's made it clear that his apartment is your home as well.

You feel incredibly grateful that you have Hongjoong as your partner.

You wonder how you got so lucky.

Hongjoong joins you on the couch, where the two of you cuddle under a blanket with a bowl of popcorn between the two of you.

You turn on a movie to fill the void of the night.

"I wish I didn't let you walk home alone. I know Seonghwa was with you, but I should have never left you in the first place. I shouldn't have gone to work on my birthday. I knew you planned this special night for me. I hesitated when I went to work. As if I knew something would happen."

"Hey," you say when Hongjoong takes a breath.

He looks over to you, worry written across his face.

"I think things are always meant to happen in they way they do. Had this not happened, you probably would have never suggested to move in together. Maybe it truly was meant to happen this way. The world works in funny ways, doesn't it? We'll figure this all out in the morning."

You give Hongjoong a small smile. He returns your smile.

"I always knew you were wise, [Y/N]."

"Now, let's continue watching this movie, shall we?"

The two of you turn back to the movie. You lean your head against Hongjoong's shoulder, Hongjoong smiling. His heart swells at your action.

You find yourself in a different place in the morning. You're in your bedroom, tucked into bed.

It seems like Hongjoong carried you to bed last night. You don't remember falling asleep. You feel like you would have woken up if Hongjoong took you to bed, but you must have been really tired.
