Split Apart

I grab my bag and run to the bus I completely forgot it way Friday and I woke up late. My mom works early in the morning so it is my responsibility to wake up before school.

My brother Clayton has football practice in the mornings which is completely annoying since his room is right next to mine and he has to be loud when getting his pans for his healthy little breakfast so he can keep his "gains".

I get to the bus stop I noticed it was 7:40 and well the bus gets here at 7:30. I guess I'm screwed I'll just have to text Clay to see if he is out of practice. "Hey Clay r u out of practice yet? I missed my bus"

"yeah but I'm in class early so I could get some homework done I'll send Sam to go get you"

"ok"

Sam the hottest, caring, nice, friendly, hot, athletic, generous guy you'll ever meet wait did I mention hot? he's been my brother's best friend since kindergarten but also I have had a crush on him since kindergarten. obviously, I will never get a chance he has a girlfriend, oh I mean the devil! her names, Astrid. She thinks she's all that but I'm pretty sure she's cheated on Sam multiple times and he hasn't even noticed!

but anyway I've been standing at the bus stop for 30 minutes wondering where the heck is Sam. all the sudden I hear a slight quiet vroom from the other end of the street oh there he is. he drives up quickly in his Jaguar "hey Jade"

"hey"

"Sorry you had to come to pick me up this always happens and my brother usually comes."

"oh no, you're fine."

"soooo hows Astrid"

"good, she's Astrid"

"haha yeah"

a complete silence crept through the car

he broke it very quickly

"so what are you doing tomorrow"

"nothing really why are you asking?"

"umm well I'm having a pool party and I was kinda wondering if you wanted to go?"

what! Sam Willhock just invited me to a PARTY!!

"sure! I would love to go"

"ok! it starts at 8:00"

"ok sound good to me!"

I grabbed my bag as we headed to the parking lot he obviously gets his own parking spot since he's a sophomore." thanks for the ride!"

"no problem!"

I run inside all the way to the bus loop I wait for 5 minutes and my bus shows up. my best friend Jaqueline surely got on the bus before I was there. She gets off the bus and looks me dead in the eyes "where were you!"

"I'm sorry! I slept through my alarm clock....again"

"how'd you even get here then?"

"Sam picked me up"

"OoOooOo"

"Stop it"

"oh and he invited me to a pool party!!"

"I wanna go!"

"I think he will be fine with that"

"ok!"

through the day I go to class to class and when its 8th period I am DONE I hate 8th period. the bell rings and I run to Clay's car. when we got home the rest of the night consisted of homework, homework, homework. once I got to bed I completely forgot what I was going to wear and then came up with an outfit in my head.
