Jeff's POV -
"We used to play around everyday until we got tired and then slept under a tree till the next day." Slender said, "One day, we found this lonely red creature walking all by himself, kicking at some stones and whistling,"
"Zalgo!" I cried out.
"Uhh...yes." Slender replied.
"We became friends with him and we all used to hang out together. But of all of us, my brother, Offender was his best friend. I never like Zalgo THAT much. Neither did the other two of my brothers."
I and Jeff looked at each other and sighed. I know where this is leading.
"Eons passed, and the relationship between Offender and Zalgo grew stronger. Sometimes, he and I would get into a fight stupidly," he sighed. "One day, Zalgo and Offender went out somewhere, and I had no idea where. 40 years ago, and I mean it, Trender and Splendor comes knocking at the door of this mansion and brought me news. Bad news."
"Zalgo and our brother had launched out an all-out assault on NYC. We quickly teleported there and tried to stop them.....but we failed. Trender almost died, Splendor fainted and I was the only one to get them out."
"But we never heard of this news anywhere...." Jack said.
"That's because before we ran away, me, Trender and Splendor erased this part of memory from all of their minds, so that this incident does not become more major." Splender replied.
"Oh." I replied.
"2 months later, we three meet again and decided to make some sort of........ prophecy. Every 3 years, someone will come up and join us in the battle against Zalgo and Offender. We decided to call them 'proxies' All of you here.....were once a proxy."
"Uhh.....yeah....." I said, rolling up my sleeve and gazing at my.....mark (I suppose?).
"One way or another, you all came to me....to US. One by one. But it was never meant for two at a time. Something's not right." Slender said.
"Okay, that was pretty creepy, the way you said it," Jack said. Slender chucked and then sighed. "That's all for tonight. Go and rest. We have an important day tomorr- -"
"Can I ask you more question?" I asked.
'What?"
"How did you choose us...the proxies?" I continued asking.
Slender sighed and got up.
"I don't. Splendor and Trender do. 'CauseI have to deal with the pain getting you all ready for the battle."

BTW I'm very sorry for the cliffhangers. This chapter had the majority of it as dialogues.
