Right block ,
Left block,
Duck,
Swing,
Arthur and lance were locked in an intense spar both waged blade to blade. nether willing to lose.
They circled echo their for a moment before lance lunged an attack. the blade was easily blocked with a flick of authors wrist.
"Lance you need to tighten your stance or you'll never disarm me." Though the statement was made to improve on. the challenge was still there.
Boys!
From my vantage point on a roof top. it was clear to see that Arthur was the one in charge.
All the men listened to him. letting him order them about and leaving him give them advance.
I wasn't shore weather it was because he was the best or just the fact that he was prince.
i had to admit though. he was Berry good... but that didn't mean he was doing it properly. he stood with his feet to close together and his guard was too low. if lance cold work that out he cold easily hit him in the face and save him the ass kicking. not to say he wasn't any good ether, they were all good. but not as good as they should be. they weren't very observant either.
i sighed watching as author once more dodged lances sloppy attacks, standing up from the roof. patting my self down before jumping off to meet the bustle of the street below. as quickly as i dropped into the crowd i was out of it again, leaning against one of the trees that lined the square absentmindedly rubbing my comfortably full stomach with my free hand. still watching them spar.
Alfred had sent me out on an errand to pick up herbs. it was simple enough work and i finished quickly. he treated me more like a man then a woman. which i was thankfully for. i think i might have strangled him if he'd pulled the 'what a woman should do' bull on me,but even though he was good to me and gave me something to do, he still refused to let me do anything too 'strenuous'. he stood firm in the belief that i was in 'no fit state to be lifting heavy things'.
watching the knights train had become a bit of a habit for me.
i wold sit and watch them train. picking out all their strengths and weaknesses. anything that wild give me an advantage in a fight.
author tends to favour his left leg and right arm were lance favors his left arm. lance needs to brace more when in stance were author needs to relax a Little. he holds himself to tight making his movements slightly awkward, therefor easy to read. As well as this lance doesn't tight his hear back, causing it to get in his eyes at points.
author had manged to trip lance and was now stood over him triumphantly with a sword to his neck.
with out taking my eyes off of the two men's interactions i slid my fingers into a lower trouser pocket, just below the line of my boots.(they didn't need to know about this ether) pulling it out i flicked open the clasp. eyes flicking down to the pocket watch in my palm. 12;30. i need to be heading back soon. i was already late but i was shaking of a tail.
since id been going out of the city to get herbs i have had people tailing me the moment i re-enter . they wild skulk around in the shadows. thinking i wasn't aware of there presence. but i was.
they were two men. one was the man that had confronted me in town. the other i didn't know but probably one of his mates. i never let them get close enough to find out what they wanted, but i think i already know what they planed to do. id walk around aimlessly for a wile. letting them think they had me, before loosing them by climbing up onto the rooftops.

i looked up from my watch to meat a gaze of piercing blue. he stood at the edge of the training grounds. perspiration shining from his form. causing his shirt and hair to stick to him. his head was coked slightly to the side. as if trying to work something out. we stayed like that for a will, in an unspoken staring match. eventually he blinked, but didn't look away.
i nodded in acknowledgement, lazily pushed myself off of the tree, stepping away without turning my back to him. i looked right and left for my lost pursuers before disappearing into the shadows of the alleyway. not looking back at the prince who watched me leave.

"Honey I'm home!" Was yelled from the door as Sakura entered. "Right, I got all the herbs you wanted and I picked up some blackberries on the way because, hay, I found blackberries."
She looked at Alfred to find him frowning at her. Oh hear we go again.
What.. I'm fine!"
"my definition of fine is very different to yours. if you wold let me just give you a check up.."
She slammed down the basket with more force then necessary.
"No. I don't need a check up. I'm a Doctor I know what I'm doing."
Alfred slammed his book shut rising to his feet to greet me. "Well it doesn't look like it! You run around the place like a child, even climbing up onto the roof, yes I have seen you. I have never once seen you asleep.
"I do that because I know I can."
"Your ribs. at your trail that looked in rather bad shape."
she rolled her eyes "look if what i do bothers you i can leave. you didn't have to invite me in the first place anyway. "
